I thought Boost is only for loan repayment, not sure it can be used for deposit.

Depend on your luck.
An example assume every 400 you get back shake reward rm1 after minus the service charge + mission reward rm5, you will get back rm6 per rm400 deposit. So total rm8000 deposit you may get back rm120. Not yet calculate the credit card cashback that you deposit into your Boost account.
