i have been using direct access platinum for years and i really love their service ... thumbs up for them...thats why even i have many other cards, i still use only my direct access...

recently i have dispute an online transaction made to my card which was usd800++...they immediately dispute for me (even now still under investigation) and replace a new card withint 30 minutes!! impressed...coz as far as i know, other banks takes about 1 week++ ... for preferred customers also within 24 hours, not within 30 minutes!!

Nothing special on this card except having greater credit limits to do 0% 6 months BT...not sure this promotion will end by this month or promotion will continue.

i just cancel the dd cc. the truth is, cimb and dd platinum design really dull, and they did not offer any counter redemption for GST charges like SCB. I thinking to apply for CIMB Visa Signature, moar gooding. Coz CIMB and DD gold and platinum share same rebates, oni think is platinum can get 1 free movie ticket.

Hey guys, i saw some of you confused with GST. those who holding CIMB visa gold and platinum, CIMB visa signature, CIMB world master card, CIMB direct access visa and all card that using bonus point. You can waived GST by using 10k bonus point.

I don't think we are confused, what most people want is GST waived without any conditions, i.e. no need to use points to offset

I understand that, but this is how another alternatives way to get GST to be waive. but as you can see annual fees for CIMB is free for life without term and conditions.

Basically CIMB and MBB (GLC) do not waive GST... FULL STOP !!!

3 more weeks to year end... no news of Direct Access upgrade yet.
