QUOTE(Jason @ Feb 4 2014, 03:33 PM) Called CIMB, they say cannot waive GST, use point to offset. I spend all my points, then call to cancel. After confirming my details and before asking me to confirm, they offer me RM50 cashback if I spend RM200 within 30 days. Rejected and proceed with cancellation. This information might be useful for you guys who want to keep the card Feel CIMB not much good deals/offers lately. Plus later can sign up again if they have good offer after the cooling period. Received a call from CIMB Cancellation department 5 minutes ago. The guy on the line ask me why I want to terminate the card, so I tell him "CIMB practice is not to waive GST". Then he offered RM50 rebate, and I told him I already destroyed the card after the previous phone call, he terus offer to send me replacement card. Not bad. I will keep the card since waive GST.

Hello noob here, for the platinum cash rebate card they say the rebate for mobile and utility payments is valid via standing orders only, what does that mean? And how to go about setting that up?
Tried googling but didn't find anything helpful.
