Well, all laptops at that time sucked compared to it's desktop counterparts. Compaq or not. Can you imagine it had like 5gb harddrive. The Laptops just not up to the challenges of the software back then. I had to buy a PCI LAN card for the LAN, an external CDRW, and few external HDD. Nowadays at least laptops can't see much challenges from everyday software.

But still laptop will never able to chase desktop in terms of gaming/multimedia capabilities and performances. Portable computers will always one step behind desktop computers. |
