Arc is higher spec than Neo. Larger screen and slimmer mainly. So I recommend to get Arc.
Dont have to wait and for 2K Arc accessories is well worth it.

Hello all I'm looking for a android ... budget 1.5k ...
I'm not a camera fan give me no camera phone also I'm good lol
... but I prefer a fast reliable droid that I can toy around like my PC (customised to my needs ...trying to jump to android custom rom world)...
Needs : Fast Reliable Phone ... mom saying SE phone are crappy ... and wont let me buy them ( bye bye Xperia Mini) ... oh well ... so I'm eyeing for a HTC .... .... I have urge for IS and Desire S (crap gonna need to find a way to root em or XTC Clip) ...really dun know which is better ... @_@ ...
Any suggestion ?

If you need tinker around with roms, i don't recommend any of those 2. I think you should go for SGS instead.

dun just judge on a product, a bad product not = a bad brand, a bad doesn't mean they won't produce a good product either...

yes .... by using XTC clip ... just RM25 ... someone buy it already in malaysia ....

( I would be watching errr tons of vids at least 720p in that phone ... I would rather not buy if they would lag ..yeah I know SGS gpu are more powerful than the SGS+)

well ... customer experience ma tongue.gif Once u experience it ... hard to come back XD. Still IDK ... Samsung or HTC ... .... still I wan a reliable trusted phone ....I'm not someone who would buy a phone and sell it later on ...

i noe XTC Clip, but i was saying about just by software not by using hardware to unlock it...
i surfed around found that some lucky region like china/india got shipped units with S-OFF o.O

Added on May 20, 2011, 1:50 amif u take care/manage well ur phone, no matter wad brand, wad warranty, how sux the product is...its a good phone

btw, remember, never judge a bad product = a bad brand, a bad brand doesn't mean won't produce good phones either...
i.e. : Nokia was good but now its fall behind..
CSL mi300/mi410 is somewhat good phone[rebrand of others lol] but their other series phone are pretty crappy though...

Samsung...sgs, sgs2, sga very nice phones, but how about their low ends one ? its quite pricey with very low spec & quality not good too...like a rm500 slide phone just offer a bluetooth+VGA camera? lols?

Hi guys! Finally getting a chance to try out AND own an Android phone! biggrin.gif Please help me make an informed decision ya~

1. Brand: Leaning towards HTC and Samsung due to its apparent popularity. Then again I am the sort who goes with the "underdog" (for want of a better word), which was why I shunned the iPhone in the first place, however beautiful it works and tempting the App Store is!

2. Budget: Not really much of an issue, actually. It's going to be given to me as sort of a bonus for work, but I don't really want to go all out and ask for a superbly pricey phone ^^

3. Specs: Um, Android Gingerbread? Not much of a specs person, leaning instead towards an all-rounder device

4. What I need in the phone:
a) must look pretty, then again all phones do when compared to my ancient Nokia
b) clear / vibrant screen
c) relatively free from major probs

I was sort of enamoured with the Google Nexus phone for a while but is it "dated", though? I am sure better phones have come out to best this model.

Then, I have read reviews and seen how awesome the Samsung Galaxy Ace and HTC Incredible S is.

So it's Google Nexus S vs Samsung Galaxy S vs HTC IS...

Am I missing out on others? Suggestions please?

PS: Oh yeah and my employer wants me to pick the Android from eBay. I know I need to find an unlocked/root device, but are there other concerns I need to address so that I get a perfectly working phone with my SIM card?

Thanks! ^^

EDIT: Crap! Just found out Galaxy Ace doesn't support Flash! And that Nexus S has Gingerbread! >.< How ah...
EDIT 2: Crap again - am eyeing Galaxy S >.<
