Hello all I'm looking for a android ... budget 1.5k ...
I'm not a camera fan give me no camera phone also I'm good lol
... but I prefer a fast reliable droid that I can toy around like my PC (customised to my needs ...trying to jump to android custom rom world)...
Needs : Fast Reliable Phone ... mom saying SE phone are crappy ... and wont let me buy them ( bye bye Xperia Mini) ... oh well ... so I'm eyeing for a HTC .... .... I have urge for IS and Desire S (crap gonna need to find a way to root em or XTC Clip) ...really dun know which is better ... @_@ ...
Any suggestion ?

SGS ? humm then SGS Plus ? ... I never tried samsung though my dad cheap samsung seem too "tahan" than my SE lol

yes .... by using XTC clip ... just RM25 ... someone buy it already in malaysia ....

( I would be watching errr tons of vids at least 720p in that phone ... I would rather not buy if they would lag ..yeah I know SGS gpu are more powerful than the SGS+)

well ... customer experience ma Once u experience it ... hard to come back XD. Still IDK ... Samsung or HTC ... .... still I wan a reliable trusted phone ....I'm not someone who would buy a phone and sell it later on ...

hurm .. since xDarkKnightx been telling me to get an SGS ... i read several review ... some commented on the poor GPS ... is it really horrible or acceptable .. and reading Lyn SGS forum they been telling that it is OK on all newer model of SGS 2011 ? .... cant make my mind yet ... IS (battery sucker ? and sunlight legibility) or SGS (GPS problem and crappy original software ) anyone got an idea on this T_T ... really new to smartyphone ... just buying cause .. been infected by android bug ... lol Thanks

been looking at DS and Neo also ... but really not a fan of SE anymore

Plus ... I like IS design more than DS .... DS on the other hand have wifi death grip issue ... and the price is not much difference than IS

I just need a decent battery, nice screen for vids and excellent web surfing and a decent gps .. ...

Nesus S with the lack of a microSD slot are really a turndown >< ~!

-Sunlight legibility (really worse or not ... I do not watch vid or surf under the sun .....just accepting calls...)
-lower data capacity @ 1.1gb

@xdarkknightx since u are an IS user .. how long does the battery would last ... I'm leaning toward IS now since I read soo many bad comment on GSMArena ..on SGS ......

in 2 month can drop RM400-800 ka ....

... megabass suck ... if you are an audiophile ...u wont be using it ...

I have Megabass in my old SE W760i and ... my old sony walkman with a Clear Bass simply knock it out of competition ....(I think my Sony Walkman are 2 year older than my phone ... lol)

Older popular model are much easier ... like SGS which have tons of roms and guide

u can check in XDAdeveloper for other model~

Sony and Samsung are easier than HTC IS/DS/Sensation which have locked bootloader (S-ON) which u need to unlock them ..

thing is ... IS almost got a unlocked bootloader ...while Sensation no progress at all ... but then ... many people said .. HTC phone no need to root since very good already

sorry ... still hanging onto these "android" term >< still need to learn more

bootlader unlocked .... wonder how HTC gonna do it .... xdadev has no real progress on Sensation bootloader yet... oh well .... just w8 and see
