Price: ~1.5k
Any other better recommendation other then DEFY around this budget?

Others: not too laggy, flash compatible

1. Brand. (HTC)
2. Budget. (1.5k-2k)
3. Specs. (1GHZ / high as well RAM / latest android / larger the better)
4. What you need in the phone (Sense UI ? Touch Witz ? Battery life? Form factor? = ALL i need)
P.S. in my mind kinda liked HTC desire HD
Main reason of changing phone is my current hp kept turning off by itself.
Incredible S. 1.8k, 2nd highest available ram period, latest android coming q2. 4.3" screen. Same as DHD but better battery life.

Guys, getting really really confused right now between the Samsung Galaxy Ace and the Sony Ericsson Xperia x10.
Just found out that the x10 is getting the Gingerbread update after all, and that is a VERY big news. Further more, the price difference of the SGA and an AP set of the x10 is only around 100 ringgit.
So guys, opinions? :/
Though I'm very curious with the locked bootloader of the x10..
x10 DOES NOT HAVE A LOCKED BOOTLOADER. THERE ARE CUSTOM ROMS FOR IT. If you don't mind the idea of not getting any future updates, get the Acer Liquid Metal. Has superior build quality compared to the x10, more ram, smaller more vibrant screen, but a suckier camera.

Hi there,
Looking for budget smartphone below RM1k. (Samsung Galaxy Ace/LG Optimus One/?)
- customizable like OC or root with low risk.
- durable or less hardware problem from users
- most possibility to have android upgrade
Thanks and regards
LG Optimus One has been confirmed to get gingerbread directly from LG.
Ace would most probably get Gingerbread then nothing else. But both of them do not support flash but Ace has a better processor(Overclocked MSM7227)
