QUOTE(victorian @ Jun 30 2021, 11:22 PM) Anyone knows if the rm40 sink in Shopee is usable for daily standard ? If yes, between the two sinks here which one would you choose and why ? [attachmentid=10915169] [attachmentid=10915170] [attachmentid=10915171] Both have different methods of fitting depending on counter top. The round edge is normally used in traditional cement top.

Unfortunately, I don't have your files open. But for everyday use, I'd choose a deeper sink and definitely install a waste chopper and wye strainer. What about the sink's material? I read that there are unique antibacterial ones on which almost no dirt remains. They are made of natural materials, but they are pretty expensive. In my experience, I'll say that the sink from stone is gorgeous, the material doesn't absorb dirt, it is easy to look after. But for the kitchen in the classical style, it will look better with solid stainless steel.

Do not stinge. If is still leaks, then you need to replace new. Could it be the problem of a loose tap connection under the sink. If your hand can reach the connector, then it should be wet if there is a small leak.

Sifus, Quick question. I just bought a sink with this size. 400(width)x450(length)x210 (depth)
When cut the table top and Install, can I put the other way round? Meaning 450(width) x 400(length) x 210(depth)?

I think both also rectangle, 1 side is longer (450 vs 400). So he's trying to ask whether can he install the sink with different orientation as in originally or normally landscape, and now he wish to install portrait

Can but subject to conditions, ie the piping underneath esp for drain hole should be enough clearance, and the mounting for tap got enough space for it..dep on whether tap hole is on the sink or on the countertop.

Any review on Elba's sink? Like their design but the price, while acceptable, abit on the high side.
Also i only consider top mount sink, can those undermount convert to topmount?

Nothing special, just usual top mounted SS sink. Preference to have space to install tap on the sink itself, and have clean lines. Elba's is ~RM480 at 1.2mm thickness, R10. So... looking good, just don't know how good it is.

Hi there, looking to options getting a sink and saw reviews on kraus ss sink from ubuy online. Best to buy inline or via app? Check app store but ubuy reviews seem to be low... Worried legit or not. Any of you purchased before and best to use app or direct online?

Hi guys, I just came back from Bukit Jalil home expo and surveying for kitchen sink.
Saw this brand, Codecor, and want to ask sifus here whether this is affordable and worth the price anot.
Here’s the specs: SUS 304 STAINLESS STEEL (NANO SINK) 780MM X 480MM Depth: 250MM (10”) Radius: R10 Thickness: 3MM/1.2MM
Price: RM2,399.00
Comes with a lot freebies: chopping board, 2x sink tray, foldable roll up round, pvc bottle trap, sink waste with basket, and a tap with the pullable hose (looks super solid. I think RRP around RM400-500).
I’m looking for a big sink with deep depth to put more plates etc and this model seems to fit the bill. But it’s my first time surveying so not sure whether there’s other better / more affordable brands.
Any suggestions? Thanks!
