My papago X5 is not working initially. So, I send in for warranty repair yesterday.
When I call up today, they said it's already fix by just software update??
Although I haven't collected and checked on it, anyone here know how can this be done??
GPS not working because I use custom ROM, kernel and EXT 4 file system???

I think nid to recalibrate the battery after flashing with odin. Sunday i got this battery draining also after flashing xxjvk.
But after recalibrate, it seem to have good battery life. I use it for 1 day 3 hr, with some call, web browsing n music still left 60% of battery smile.gif
I no have this 60% left in 1 day before in froyo 2.2.1 xwjs7 with zsjpg modem.

I'm using ext4 filesystem instead of stock rfs

Was fortunate enough to play with Nexus S on Ginger for a while just now.

Impression: very good.

The response and smoothness was beyond comprehension compared to my Speedmod patched SGS1. Looking forward to Gingerbread. biggrin.gif

BTW, Nexus S' FS is EXT4?

On a 2nd note, it no longer sync FB calendar on Gingerbread. Seems like everyone waiting for the upgrade.

Hi freakfingers aka MIUI expert,

Need your advice....if I want to flash to the MIUI 2.3.3 RC2 ROM, what will be the best and safest way to start?

Do I need to flash to any particular stock ROM via Odin before I start the process below?

Extracted from MIUI thread

Installation:

0: Be sure that you're based on a Froyo FW! CRUCIAL.

1: Load these files:
a) galaxy-efsbackup.zip
b) cm7-galaxys-initial-kernel.tar
c) MIUI RC1
d) speedmod-kernel-k13c-500hz.tar

When he mentioned Froyo FW! Crucial!...does he mean a stock firmware of any custom Froyo rom?...

I'm currently on Criskelo ROM Froyo 2.2.1, can I proceed to flash MIUI directly?

Thanks so much....
