Hmm..looks like battery life on XXJVK not so good huh.....
*
I think nid to recalibrate the battery after flashing with odin. Sunday i got this battery draining also after flashing xxjvk.
But after recalibrate, it seem to have good battery life. I use it for 1 day 3 hr, with some call, web browsing n music still left 60% of battery smile.gif
I no have this 60% left in 1 day before in froyo 2.2.1 xwjs7 with zsjpg modem.

I'm using ext4 filesystem instead of stock rfs

btw, i found there is an apps called angry gps after i flash to jvk..anyone having the same apps?
*
Angry gps is the lbstestmode in xxjvk.

Dial *#*#3214789650#*#* to open it.

I found out that it will drain ur battery if u open it. Task killer will not close it. I restart my phone after i use it so that it will not drain battery.

It's ironic that Samsung's leaked Gingerbread ROM doesn't come with Gingerbread keyboard, but we are stuck with Samsung's lousy keyboard. sad.gif
*
I like swype rather than Gingerbread keyboard, but the xxjvk swype do not have chinese, swype from froyo eg dxjpa r not compatible for xxjvk.
Any swype having chinese work in xxjvk?

Yup, installed the GB keyboard already. Just that Samsung keep feeding us with their useless keyboard.

@chris7524: was the Chinese input for Swype good and efficient? Every word was less than 6 letters long. The predictions good?
*
The predictions is quite good... n it is faster, can swype woaini in 1sec rclxms.gif
n just swype from setting(Left bottom) to Q(Left top) to interchange with last used language eg UK English

But mine situation totally different wif ur......
Mine sgs jz can tahan around 10-12 hours.....How come?  = = Under battery usage, it show that serious battery consumption on Android OS.
Another forum oso got some users facing battery drain seriously problems. May i know wht ur setting after flashed XXJVK ?  biggrin.gif
*
i just flash xxjvk with bootloader,
recalibrate battery,
use voodoo hack for ext4,
restart phone after using gps eg angrygps (battery draining) bcos i dunno how to close the angrygps... it will always run on background after using it, it's not killed by task killer (not sure battery draining is caused by angrygps or not, but restart phone will solve it)

Last few day i also facing high Android OS battery consumption after i use angrygps... then i restart the phone n the problem solve. Not sure it is caused by the angrygps...
