It is so smooth that when I scroll up and down the lowyat thread, it tends to move a bit to the right and left...haha

But the biggest plus point for me is that when I reply a thread in lowyat forum, the screen doesn't automatically scrolls up anymore....yeah!!!!

Btw, what is this user agent thing? How to install?

Criskelo v72 and Simply Galaxy ROM both have call recording....alternatives for your consideration in case you wanna leave Darky...haha

Hmm...looks like MIUI 2.3.3 ROM development will stop at Beta 6 for now......sad news.
I was looking forward to a stable version.

Fully. After about 1min, the web browser closed by itself.
Then, my memory gone below 50MB. Even I kill apps, still can't get memory back to 100MB. Anyone know why? Anyone can try to open the link with their phone?
Could it be due to flashing to speedmod 12d?

I tried the link, no problem with web browser closing and no memory issue too.

I'm using Opera Mobile on Criskelo Rom with Speedmod kernel K13d.

Hi freakfingers aka MIUI expert,

Need your advice....if I want to flash to the MIUI 2.3.3 RC2 ROM, what will be the best and safest way to start?

Do I need to flash to any particular stock ROM via Odin before I start the process below?

Installation:

0: Be sure that you're based on a Froyo FW! CRUCIAL.

1: Load these files:
a) galaxy-efsbackup.zip
b) cm7-galaxys-initial-kernel.tar
c) MIUI RC1
d) speedmod-kernel-k13c-500hz.tar


When he mentioned Froyo FW! Crucial!...does he mean a stock firmware of any custom Froyo rom?...

I'm currently on Criskelo ROM Froyo 2.2.1, can I proceed to flash MIUI directly?

Flashed to Simply Galaxy 2.7XE last night.

A bit scared to try XXJVK or MIUI until they are more stable...

But I still hate Simply Galaxy Swype black keyboard...sigh

Same here, waiting for some sifus to advise which is a safer route to take towards XXJVK...

1) Doc's beta kitchen XXJVK?

2) Ginger Criskelo ROM XXJVK?

3) Samfirmware stock XXJVK?

Hi gmhafiz,

After I flashed to Insanity Rom, I can't view Videos or listen to Music because there is no Video or Music player.

I tried to use both the Nitrality function and also tried downloading the .apk file from Insanity thread but couldn't get it installed. It reads Installation not successful.

Any ideas why?

Any recommended alternatives video player and music player from Market?
