im in download mode... after flashing this mode appear....i tired to flash again but the same thing happen....

erm.... you DONT extracted the zImage out of the .tar you have, that .tar is different than normal i think.

open the rom.tar with 7zip, and delete OTHER than the zImage, that mean only zImage is left in the .tar, and then just close it. and flash using that.

remember to duplicate the rom.tar first before making any deletion

erm, which rom are you from and which rom are you trying to flash?

as long as you can go into download mode, you are safe.

zimage itself has no encapsulation. Odin requires archived package. Nvm, good learn isn't it?

Yea.

Gingerbread is really snappy and fast. It sets SGS to the way it should be in the first place.... Confirm wifi signal is lower than JS8. GPS is good and fast lock, camera works! So far so good, still testing the new ROM.

I leave the CSC at KOR and set APN manually. Next step is to get back CWM. Any custom kernel to recommend that is compatible with JVK ROM?

im not familiar with gingerbread swype.... it predict ur word although u already off word prediction.... any idea how can i use older version swype on gingerbread?

XXJVK source is not released. Custom kernel are not available, except for Supercurio's hacked gingerbread kernel.

MIUI RC2:

- upon rebooting, all my apps from previous rom begins installing. this causes a lot of lags. I had the same experinece with cm7 as well. Once everything is installed, I was able to explore miui.
- interface looks nice, a lot more polished. but there's some problem with white link on white background.
- i experience some choppiness in the interface
- wifi strength is lower
- got corrupted IMEI and no baseband.
- changed kernel to bilbao and try to restore efs using rootexplorer but failed. It says insufficient space left in that partition
- tried to flash modem by cwm, link from cm7 page. but baseband is still not there
- thus cannot make & recieve calls. girlfriend is angry.
- will wait for the next cm7 release

XXJVK:
- looks the same as xsjpj
- wifi strength looks low as well
- tried to root using fuguroot. but stuck in odin at param.lfs. Got soft brick , re-flashed XXJVK.
