ya i found RM340 But seriously, 6gv2>BWU? It looks very plain when compared to Razer, but I dont think I will mind if the comfort and performance is better.

QUOTE(0168257061 @ Mar 23 2011, 12:32 PM) Normally how much they cost ? Filco and Leopold Mechanical Keyboard is coming to malaysia in April, with local warranty.saw lelong for Rm550 isnt that a bit expensive compared to other website ? So i think you should wait for Filco and Leopold to arrive, since they are much cheaper by then. QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Mar 23 2011, 10:53 AM) Yes I have tried cherry browns. i hate black because they tire my fingers out typing on them Looks like clears might be the switch I am looking for, though i really want to research everything nicely before making a purchase. I read too that Clears are rather stiff, almost like Blacks? I have never tried blacks before. My primary usage is for typing. Would typing long time on clears tire the fingers easily? |

I don't know about the blacks man, despite the large number of people saying that black switches are "too hard on the fingers", there are many people out there saying that blacks are extremely comfortable to type on lol.

well, the only difference i felt from using black switch and red switch is that i seldom bottom-up when using the former 1. Red switch however, is so light that i bottom-up almost all the time. and, 1 thing bout black switch is that the push back is greater compared to other switches when u're going to reach the bottom. Being "hard to the finger" is a little exaggerating.... LOL
all in all, if you do not like the push back force of black switch, go for the red This post has been edited by THEswordmaster: Mar 23 2011, 04:52 PM |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Mar 23 2011, 05:46 PM) Any games? Better dont go for blue if you play action games, FPS or other fast pace games lots. The double tap of blue isn't really feel good to game on. actually it's not the switch problem for the uneven caps. try to bottom the "up lifted" keys and press deeper.BTW, other infamous issue that happen to most of Razer BWU(and some BWE) are: 1. uneven / semi faulty switch which will feel, sound and bump different. 2. the keys are unevenly lifted(mean some keys on the same row may be higher and some is lower). For my case, my 'N' key are sank by 1mm and my 'C' key elevated 1mm. 3. flex of the keyboard wrist rest due to it's design. The design is semi floating and the wrist rest tend to flex upward at the centre. Lastly, just want to ask whether you use laptop or desktop? BWU isn't so suitable with laptop due to it's bulky cables and the so called braided cable also caused some problems to me(it occur since i bought it). Anyway, ducky 9008 nkey? http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=9098379564 if bulk, less than 400 This post has been edited by lucidlts: Mar 23 2011, 06:28 PM |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Mar 23 2011, 07:27 PM) Added on March 23, 2011, 7:37 pmBTW, i realise that the oddity(uneven switch) of razer BW MAY BE coming from deep pressing(with force) of switch. My arrow down keys originally click normally but after ytd i pressed it forcefully, it become a little like those other faulty-clickly keys... So, beware those keyboard spammer... |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Mar 23 2011, 07:56 PM) Okay, Between all Cherry MX Switches, Cherry MX Blue has the highest RMA rate.Added on March 23, 2011, 7:57 pm Brown should be no, need to find forumers' help. No offense to Razer, but from what i learn from few keyboard manufacturer staff, Razer purchase refurbish cherry MX Blue from other manufacturer which is not directly from Cherry. Cherry -> New Switch -> Manufacturer -> RMA -> Refurbish -> Razer. do noted they have the cheapest blue switch around, so you can actually understand the quality issue of each switch having different sound.
