Done that a few times. And that was just to show you guys its a Red switch. I normally done.

the correct way is to use the key cap puller, attach it under 2 corner of the key cap, and then slowly pull up by using increasing force, don't sekali gus UHHMPP!! pop keluar. i scare one day that will really happen. = =

Btw, currently if you still not yet know the proper to take keycaps off. i would suggest you avoid taking big key cap out, example of space, shift, enter. these key are very dangerous when pulling out.

The double shot isn't my main concern actually, the main reasons I like it because the incurve keycaps(wanna try if it feel as good or near as Logitech's one), something produced by UK company(wanna see if the QC is good), the layout and last but not the least, THE PRICE sweat.gif

Filco is cheap at Japan, even the LEGENDARY TOPRE also much cheaper at Japan... sweat.gif
*
not really, they are the cheapest at cleverly. i bought another linear action at yodobashi - extra JPY3000 sweat.gif
topre is cheaper, but at almost RM800 for a keyboard with kanji characters, not worth it. the feel is AWESOME tho. whoever's lucky enough to go to akihabara should stop by the cleverly store. keyboard nerd heaven lol

Kena once, luckily still manage to put it back to 1 piece & it still works fine. scared already D:
That's the PLU POM thingy, so if anyone here planning to get a PLU board, be careful in pulling the caps even with a key puller. :/

Been reading much on more tactile brown switches, that is the Cherry clears.
Does anyone has any experience with it?

have you tried the cherry browns? clears are like browns in terms of noise level, but they have a more prominent bump at the halfpoint. it's more like the blue without the high-pitched sound.

Yes I have tried cherry browns.
Looks like clears might be the switch I am looking for, though i really want to research everything nicely before making a purchase.

I read too that Clears are rather stiff, almost like Blacks? I have never tried blacks before.
My primary usage is for typing. Would typing long time on clears tire the fingers easily?

Filco have about the same design for all their kbs anyway. Only diff is the switches. So if you've seen one, you've seen all.

Filcos will SOON be in malaysia
If you want it now, try lelong, or armygroup Taiwan

Otherwise, Duckies get from global.pchome. Ships rather fast

However, most clears switch users like clears. Some also claimed that it is not as tire as black to type on.

This is among the most famous and valuable clear board(clear switch just EOL this year so better stock it up while you can). With double shots keycaps, extra keys, relegendable keycaps, touchpad and others, it worth pretty much every penny(if only you can find ppl to help you post to Malaysia... sweat.gif ,cheaper).

I could probably use vPOST service, but in total, that would come up about 70USD, unless someone wants to join me to get this as well.
There is a Clear switch in PCHOME, but that one is rather the expensive.

As I can afford only 1 keyboard right now, I find it hard to choose between a Clear, either from ebay or PCHOME for the G80-3000, or wait for the leopold with a blue switch, with rumoured free blank keycaps. Choices and choices, this is hard, especially when you never tried any clears or blues before.

Maybe you are willing to let me try your clear and/or blues drool.gif
