After watching the GIF on page 1, i am conflicted between Brown and Red switches...

I cannot find Filco keyboards at global.pchome....

For typing and gaming combination, generally recommended to go for MX brown switches.
Steelseries are MX black switches, which likely is not good more long periods of typing, for most people anyways.

Edifier is going to bring in FILCO's soon, Cyclonechuah is bringing in Leopolds, focusing on MX red switches, which is like a lighter MX black switch.
From what I can get from Geekhack, typing on MX Reds is like typing on clouds of b00bies

If you are looking to buy Mech Keyboards, currently locally available are the Steelseries and the Razer BW
For Foreign ordered, you can try Taobao, or PCHOME

Add shipping at $10 and you get your keyboard, use a exchange rate converter, or for quick conversion, divide the price by 10, then add Rm40~ that is agak agak the price that you are going to pay

No Filcos at global.pchome.
DK9008s are a fine alternative to FILCOs

From my point of view, after my experience with Ducky DK-9008, i personally felt Ducky is better then Filco, no offence to filco fan out there.

Currently you need to wait, because the current price for Filco and Leopold is still not yet announce.

For Cherry MX Red,
You have few options.
1.Cherry 3494 Lycus-2, purchase from pchome.tw, import from taiwan.
2.Filco Majestouch Linear R Limited Edition FKBN104MR/EB2, Purchase from Edifier, Do be warned it's limited, Edifier manage to get 10 units only. once gone, it's gone, no more. price RM600+ per keyboard.
3.Leopold FC300R/FC500R Cherry MX Red(multiple options, you can choose to have black or brown or blue, not just red). Estimated Price RM300~400

you can find at lelong.com.my, it's available locally. but it's RM550 thou, alot people here suggest import from taiwan armygroup.com.tw which will be cheaper i think.

at first i was interested in steelseries, i'm not really into razer products, if every1 knows what i mean. yeah i'm choosing between filco and leopold after finding out about this group. i've been following your discussions during v1, seems that these 2 brands are quite rare in msia. i have my options open, looks like leopold has caught my attention. is it coming anytime soon?

Yes, 3 switches are still the same price, there's no differents in price for blue brown and black.

Looks like red switches are new to ppl here. still choosing between browns or reds.
