well, the only difference i felt from using black switch and red switch is that i seldom bottom-up when using the former 1. Red switch however, is so light that i bottom-up almost all the time. and, 1 thing bout black switch is that the push back is greater compared to other switches when u're going to reach the bottom. Being "hard to the finger" is a little exaggerating.... LOL

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Mar 25 2011, 09:01 PM) i have a very bad feeling that i may be end up bottoming up all the key on Cherry MX red switches. My room is gonna be noisy for a while when i receive my Leopold FC300R. CLACK CLACK CLACK key bottoming out LOL. no worries, u'll be bottoming up almost all the time. Currently now i'm touch typing using black switch. using quick tapping method, let the key bounce my finger back up and continue to pressing another key. well, this method make my finger less tired by using this. since the force is enough to stop itself from bottoming up and bounce my finger back. i feel very good in typing with black switch. typing 100 words per minutes with http://speedtest.10-fast-fingers.com/ |

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Mar 30 2011, 05:45 PM) While Blue and Brown will offer an entirely different typing feeling because it has a tactile bumb or clicky sound(blue only), so newbies are much more easier to notice the difference, and will focus more on clicking a key to feel the tactile bump, thus resulting newbies to have more positive feedback upon Mechanical Keyboard. Ha, maybe that's the reason Razer came out with the blue switch BW first, to expose the gamers/normal consumer about mechanical keyboard. lolBut it kinda defeat the purpose if their QC is bad...... |

QUOTE(Sky.Live @ May 3 2011, 12:11 PM) Shall I? do it http://store.pchome.com.tw/silver-keyboard/M07908446.htm not sure if they are willing to accept Malaysia Credit card, I have a friend in Taiwan now.. I should design a switch, please wash, clean, dry, and apply antiseptic before you can activate the keyboard. In any means, no food in 10 feet radius of this keyboard. I think it's the same keyboard as Ducky 9008 with only white layout. Dillema that 9008v2 only cos 2990NT compared to this white ducky @ 3390NT.. Do I really need the USB NKRO? I have no problem getting a PS2 port since it will be connected to a desktop, anyhow 6KRO over USB is also perfectly fine.. On the other hand red switch 9008v2 cost 3590NT.. not sure if I would like it since I really like clicky sound » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Poison? |

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ May 3 2011, 02:13 PM) my ducky doesn't show any symptom at all, i just pulling the mini usb out of the keyboard carefully, then proceed to plug mini usb to my leopold keyboard, and remove the PS/2 converter and try with USB. how bout try plugging it into another computer?then in the time i got interested in knowing how many key ducky supported, and try ducky in usb condition, it's 6KRO, then i pull the usb and add a PS/2 Converter and wanted to use back the ducky with PS/2 Converter. and then.... not working aready, i tried pressing numlock, FN key, caps lock, scroll lock, etc to check if the keyboard receive any power or not, but no led lid up. at first i was thought, maybe i changing keyboard too much and my PC is rejecting connection or USB stuck or anything, so i proceed with restarting the computer, yet, still not working with USB and with PS/2 Converter. i thought of cable problem, changed cable, not working... use the current cable with another keyboard, yet it works. so i officially announce, My Ducky is dead. |
