Take your time bro..I got my Wira as second hand 2 years + ago..until now still not yet finish repair wear and tear parts and some minor problem parts..
Just make sure your important parts settle..you mentioned oil leakage? at which part? if its just a little bit, you can just ignore first since your budget tight right? Then save your money to do full overhaul..sekaligus solve your problem + gain performance back  drool.gif

I have mine 4g15 for 5yrs. Now 4g93t for 3yrs. I can say the first five year repair mostly accessories parts only. Now, nothing to repair much except those common servicing parts.

Hai all,

My previous problem about temperature keep going high is solved.

First, the battery is not good anymore. So it cannot give enough power to my bad condition of fan motor.

So I change the fan motor with the new one, and change the battery. The problem now has gone...
*
Nice. I'm thinking to change my radiator fan too. Seems like sucking up alot of amperage off my alternator. Batt will spoil in this condition becoz it's pulling more current. Then when fan off. The alternator charge the batt. This on n off charging kill the batt fast! Mine batt got exploded becoz of this.

Can change to fiber roof? Lol.. Like those Gen2 CPS.

I want a makeover for my car but don't know where to start. Which mechanic/shop could strip off the entire car to its chassis and literally refurbish every part?
*
gen2? fiber? not sticker?
i know one place in tmn mayang that can put a whole piece of PVC / fake leather like padded material on the roof...similar to what u see on limousines...around rm300+.
if repaint etc, no use cos not easy to get rid 100% of the rust...so sure come back after awhile.

My 4G15 is already 3 years+ and still a lot to change the wear and tear parts, suspension especially. Now for as long as it can start, driveable and safe is good enough. Don't know how long can last until I really 'need' to get those things repaired laugh.gif

My Wira still in above average condition but if I really want to 'refurbish' it back to bling bling new condition, I think it requires a lot of effort. Don't even know which mechanic can do those tedious work.

Hi guys, Im driving a Wira Sedan and recently i can smell engine/exhaust smell inside the cabin. This happens especially during high speed/RPM driving, with/without switching on the Aircond. Just weeks ago I have serviced the aircond and changed filter but the problem still exist. What other possibilities of this problem? sad.gif

It's a common Wira problem tongue.gif I locked all my windows, and open driver door when I reach toll plaza, parking entrance/exit, etc. doh.gif

The issue afraid is, once open, cannot close and you need to drive out. Then it starts to rain ... sweat.gif

normally just change the power window rail with the new cable will fix the problem. I think 5 years ago I purchased that part for 38 only, then DIY myself. The power window still working fine since then.

For all the 4 doors combined, I think I have changed about 7-9 rails (including warranty claim) doh.gif
Motor no problem though, I think spoil once only.
Nowadays, keep it locked.
