Comment problem for 4G9x & 4G1x Engine with TB running on ICV, whereby the gear always spoil. i changed few times, just the gear. Won't last you long. Change the whole TB, if you don't wanna use FICD.

FICD

XXBOX - Yeah Avatar is my ride..now bit different tongue.gif...hehe...

If just change the TB Bottom Gear cost only RM50 ~ RM100 for the Parts. But trust me, not recommended. Try to touch the bottom of your TB, if you feel sticky sticky, mean the rubber had melt.

Im using only 1 FICD. The bottom ICV totally throw away liao. Hmm...been using for more then 1 year liao....hoho..no problem nor issue at all. Just morning warm up the idling will be extremely low only. Don't get what you mean about the Auto Choke wo....and what you mean by limp mode ah??? Blur liao...

Is that means i have to get the workshop to check on the radiator thermostat ?
I told the problem to workshop before and they just advised to warm up the engine but i really sick of doing it everyday and the black smokes. What else i should check to get rid of this problem ?
I really appreciate your replies. thank you
*
If really your engine warm up too slow. Better go and check the condition of your thermostat lo....solve it one for all....hehe...

If you need, i can recommend you to my foreman, located at USJ1 Industrial Park.

yup, i think it was something like safe mode, where the ECU will set AFR to richer and limit the power to prevent engine damage.

my ISC also got problem ard, maybe will install FICD.

btw nelsonlye, your engine "aura" seems very strong wor. brows.gif
got dyno before?
*
Go for FICD, case close and solve all your issue. Cheap n nice. smile.gif

Errr.....my engine "AURA" errr...no strong..normal standard 1.6 engine...nothign special....no dyno b4 le....paisei to go dyno where less then 100 horse....

just got my ride yesterday and overall, I'm very satisfied with my ride (at least for now tongue.gif )

now I want to do some makeup because my car look so dull and might spray 2k color (need some idea smile.gif )

but first, I'm gonna change the absorber + spring and sporty rims + new tyre

suggestion?

btw, mine is 1.5GLi year 2005 rclxms.gif
*
Budget for absorber? Original? Adjustable? Or? hehe..

Rim size? 15, 16 & 17? Tyre? Performance? or Normal? For 1.5 don't go more then 16" inch, in fact the best still 15"... Tyre cheap...and better pick up smile.gif If for better handling, suggest go for 16"...

*
Sorry, i don't have any opinion to share. Just feel that, those internal parts, better get better or branded staff then china/local staff. Just my opinion. Cause this CAM Shaft, talk about very accurate or presist angle & etc. So i would suggest you get like Tomei, HKS & etc.

Just my point nothing personal. smile.gif

budget for absorber? no idea  hmm.gif
i might for adjustable..

rim size? i like my car looks like a mini..  drool.gif tyre near with car body.. so using 16" will give my car more machoness  brows.gif
but i don't like to go zig zag whenever there is speed bump, so lowered the car is a big no-no
if 15" is the best option, then I go with it (eventho I like big + wider rims  icon_rolleyes.gif )

for all these, I might able to fork out RM2k (sport rims, tires, adjustable absorber)

and will do 1 shot if got the right shop  notworthy.gif
*
Adjustable...muhaha...come see my signature..... drool.gif

Follow me lo...go for 17inch tongue.gif

RM2k i guess u only able to get RIM + Tyre wo.....maybe later only u go for Adjustable lo.... Slowly....step by step... must enjoy d process like me.... cool2.gif

17" too big and too heavy..  sweat.gif
and how much for the adjustable?
if I allocate 1.5k for sport rim (taiwan made) + new tire, 500 didn't make a cut for adjustable?
how much I need to topup for adjustable?  notworthy.gif
*
205 45 R16 Tyre 4 x at least touch RM900 ~ RM1k ++ depending the brand. How about RIM? hehe.....

RM500 unable to get original absorber for 4 pcs also wo sad.gif ......

If branded Adjustable like TEIN, Cusco will cost more then RM2k.... drool.gif

In fact i got a set of 16" inch rim with tyre...but not suitable for u..cause is 5 lugs Civic Rim...heeh
