got a curious question here hmm.gif i noticed that alot Wira they modded the CAI (Cold Air Intake) to in front or side of the front bumper. I understood that is to help the engine to get more cold air. But isn't it originaly our EFi version drop-in air filter box already connected the air-intake host near the front right mudguard there already?

Do u all use engine oil flush on your engine frequently? I never flush my engine before since new till now already 8 years. I scared some of the aftermarket product might corrode the engine or oil seal/gasket hmm.gif

But i've been doing regular services and maintainence on the car itself all the while.

nicely done.... neat thumbup.gif

Added on July 12, 2011, 8:03 pmoh ya... wanna ask.... I met with an accident(not sure) this evening...

I parked my car at a parking space.... Then while I was away... A car (saga) hit a motocycle parking beside my car, and it fell... leaving dent and scratch on my car. The shop owner managed to write down the car plate number, and the car driver did left a contact number (his friend).

So whose insurance should I claim if the the driver refuse to settle with me with in 24 hours. Can claim the Saga (insurance)?
*
Normally for this kind of small dents and scratches which costing no more than RM300 is very hard to get a claim even if the owner of that car which knocked u agrees to let u claim. I suggest u contact that person and settle personally.

Wira with rear disc brake usually are 1.6 and 1.8 while 1.3 and 1.5 comes with rear drum. It is just plug and play but I believe it requires JPJ approval.

Good to hear that it is plug and play. Been seeing some 1.5 Wira having rear disc brake... jealous them lor.. it look nicer with sport rims that got big lubang rclxms.gif
But upgrade brake also need JPJ approval ar? doh.gif

damm my Wira aircon condenser fan dead again... 2 times already in 2 years time. Now compressor will cut off when car not moving with enough air flow.

Added on July 15, 2011, 10:10 pmhmm just now i checked again. The fan is running and strong. But weird is the compressor wont start when the car has idling for a moment. When driving or rev it high only it will start. I guess compressor dying soon... Its been noisy like meat grinder for years...

I've seen some test on those open pod high airflow filter vs stock filter. They cleaned the throtle body then put stock filter and run the engine few runs. Then wipe inside the throtle body with white tissue paper, not so dirty. Whereas with those K&N open pod with higher airflow, the result is dirtier tissue.
More airflow = More dirt enters
