QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Apr 2 2011, 03:44 PM) Yes. You can. You can link up to 4 of your VISA or MasterCard issued by any other banks in Malaysia into your M2U to use to pay bills (certain bills only). With AMEX ? No. thanks, i guess i'll go for the TM,TNB auto debit for the amex then, still get the 5x points at least

@mustang I never encountered the problem of being blocked on the 4th time swiping my AMEX at a petrol station. But I did try it after the 10th time, a customer service called me on the spot to verify if I am the one doing the transaction.

I do notice that on weekends, the Maybankard2 AMEX need to go thru the EDC terminal a few times before getting approval. Failed twice at Starbucks and Maxis Centre.. Just asked to retry until approved. And I hate the response message when EDC returns an error "CARD DECLINED" This post has been edited by ronnie: Apr 3 2011, 11:21 AM

QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Apr 2 2011, 12:43 PM) It accepts AMEX at the "ATM" kinda machine for payment or have to proceed to the counter? I went direct to the "manned" payment counter (@TMPoint Damansara Uptown) after taking your queue number.

It's only the 3rd Arpil 2011... maybe next week there will be pictures of the Maybankard2 Mastercard appearing here. What's so good about the Maybankard2 Mastercard anyway ?

Nothing special about the Visa.
It's just another backup CC if you already own an existing VISA.

Maybe the Mastercard will have something like Sunday rebates similar to the ones offered by CIMB/DA? Who knows.
