my mbb2cards amex GST is waived, so next statement, GST will charge on my mbb2cards visa

Hi guys
I'm using maybankard visa and master classic now . got few questions

1) do i need to cancel both cards first before applying MBB 2 cards ?
2) do i need to prepare these document again ?

3) do they offer all 3 - visa / master / amex ? or choose 2 only ?

1) NO, you can have as many MBB cards you wish.
2) No, just download the application form for Maybnakrd 2 Cards and fax to Maybank. You can even call Customer Service to Apply.
3) AMEX is a must, you get to choose between Visa or MC.

If you had read the 1st post, I gave a link to my article on Maybankard 2 Cards. In this article, it was mentioned how you can apply for MBB 2 cards i.e. by phone, email and fax. In the same article I also gave a link where you can download Maybankard 2 Cards application form where all you need is to fill your IC, name and existing cards. Fax the form to Maybank, that's all. Having said the above, I just noted couple days ago, all MBB credit cards in their website NOW states minimum income to get MBB card is RM30,000 per year. So if you applied for your existing classic card last time and your salary was less than RM24K then, and if MBB now approved your Maybankard 2 Cards application now, please report here and share with us the outcome.

Ya. if 2nd statement still dun have the GST, mayb they will charge on 3rd mth.
GST is the must, unless waived by treat point

does the visa treatpoints and amex points merge or they are separate?

They put in separated. But infact, it is mixed due to both are Treat Point. Refer attachment

thanks for sharing, its combine then ,which can use both cards to maximize the points then.
i.e i think will use the visa for autobilling /items that cant use the Amex then.

Ya, if can't use amex, then oni use visa/master.
For autopay, u can use AMEX such as TNB or TM.

from the site, its seems no 5xpoints applicable for the autobilling for amex is it?

My new MBB2 Amex total spending as at now is RM2672.08, x5 and I should be getting 13,360 TP. But why my TP on only showed 12683 ?

i think it's been mentioned many times the auto debit promotion has ended.
read the note at the bottom. offer valids until 15 march.

btw, has anyone cancelled their existing card and transfer the treatpoints to the new mbb2cards? i did the cancellation to my old visa gold but the card is still shown on my mb2u and treat points are currently zero and it looks like they have yet to add the tp into my new cards.

from my observation, TP update is slightly slower than AMEX/Visa account update, check back later to verify again

ya. promotions is ended, but still can do the autopay, just don't have the 10k treatpoint.
last time i called CS, she said use mbb2cards amex autopay, the point is 5x

it's just one week though since i cancelled my card. should i give them more time?

Haha, give them another 1 week and see how.

do we have anywhere tat accepts amex tat we can pay ALL the utility bills (phone, internet, electricity, water, cukai pintu etc). it sounds ridiculous to just drive to tmpoint to pay my phone bill on sat.

Strange,TM just confirm tht i can autobill my acc with amex.
