Most of those big spenders, use it for business-travel purpose.
Some have to pay all first and claim later, including flight, hotel, restaurant/meals + expenses.
A single one week trip to Europe can easily rake RM10k-50k+

How can small to medium spenders compete with them for the prize? No way can overcome their spending power. An iPad to them is nothing if compared to their other luxury items.

is like this la.... is a promotions techniques. You buy more.... you get more discount or benefit. If not why some promotions like LABODEGA AMEX platinum card 50% for food only for AMEX original cards. Why, this is because their annual fees 1K++ (correct me if i am wrong)

I also don't like this but this is how the capitalism works... It's a true of life, accept it Do something to change your destiny

This is the problem. do not know why they wanted to make it so many level. long long ago where got platinum card? hahahah sorry if i talk so much non sense here.

they create new layer of cards and they will eliminate those level which lower, example classic...many of the bank start to stop having classic card already

Suppose is no need, but it is depend which bank.
For my cases, i cancelled public bank cc b4 use, they didn't charge.
while HLB, they charge me although i never use the card
