Submitted my application on last Tuesday... going to check the status next week. Any alternative to check the status other than calling them?

I applied my Citibank CC via email without any issue. It's done pretty quick and got my card within 2 weeks. But, that seems doesn't apply for Maybank. I called Maybank to check my application status but was told my application has not found in their database. So, have to re-fax my application and then I asked if apply via email would be faster, the answer I got is NO. Fax is faster than email.

So, it's better to follow their way if couldn't wait...

For me, i will try to avoid the foreign exchange and furthermore, I don't know if the 5% rebate is based on transaction date or posting date. Usually, there's 1 or 2 days of delay for posting date.

This is bull shit... i applied my OCBC Titanium card without pay slip. Just IC & existing CC and the card is on my hand now. I have also applied MBB 2 cards about the same time as my OCBC application, until now I don't even know if the card got approve. Just today received one sms saying that MBB will call me for verification/confirmation. Looks like they're going to ask the same thing from me, payslip. How "efficient" is MBB... "Malaysia Boleh!"

You're lucky. Mine one, applied on 3/May and today, only called me to verify my application. Then, asked me to email them my application again coz fax not clear. Not understand, why have to wait so long only to ask me to resend?

Finally, i got sms from MBB saying that my application has been approved... it took me 20 days to get this sms and few more days to get my cards

Added on June 1, 2011, 1:28 pmChecked again few seconds ago, looks like Maybank2u has just updated the info... The t&c on "Applicable only at selected outlets" has just been removed. Looks like it's applicable to all the outlets now... probably, it's time to pay Starbucks another visit soon

For my case, application form + IC + Existing credit card. Approved on the same day when they got a clear photocopy (fax 3 times but claimed not clear)... then email them and problem solved.

Mine case, waited 2 working days (after i got a call from MBB saying that it had been approved) for MBB staff to call me for collection.

Added on June 2, 2011, 12:23 am3 weeks ago... from Maybank2u, it did mentioned "Only at selected Starbucks outlets"... i'm very sure it just removed about 1pm+ this afternoon (I checked once at 12pm and the term was still there).

if i understand correctly, the t&c is min spending 15k and must be among the top spenders, then only can get it.
