I notice that I have what i think is pre-approve Maybank 2 card from m2u, I also got a Amex GCC. Wondering does credit limit is shared between 3 cards? Can i activate the VISA card only? thanks

Yes, credit limit is shared between all three cards.
The cards are pre-activated so if you use the Visa only, you are bound to pay the gst already.

My usual Petronas station doesnt accept amex, even at the counter..what a downer

They are updated when your transactions are posted in your account.

MBB Visa/Mastercard cards are useful for overseas spending because of competitive forex rates.

Yes. You can say it like that but then, many places do not accept AMEX. You definitely have to use your MBB2 VISA someday, unless you have other VISA/MasterCard from other banks.

By the way, remember to always use the MBB2 VISA when you're overseas or whenever you buy something online and have to pay in foreign currency. Maybank VISA/MasterCard has the lowest admin fee and exchange rate of all the banks in Malaysia.
