Maybank still haven't charged my credit cards for what i purchased, lol ... Happy or Sad case ?

same here. I did the transaction on Sunday (24/4)but until now it's not charged (to my Visa).
Is it just me or I noticed that Visa transaction is always slower to be in the system (compared to Amex)?

Or it is normally slower if transaction is done over the weekends?

I'm not sure of penalty fee but as a matter of fact, I'm not terminating the BT/installment. I'm just "moving" it to another existing CC. It's better to clarify with the card centre personnel.
*
oh u mean just continue pay the BT but to another CC right.

i thought transfer the current BT for another BT.
example current BT got 7 months remaining then u start it back for 12 months with another CC.
but u mean still continue for 7 months but just with another CC.

no idea regarding this, and yes, better confirm with the card center.

Yup, I agree on that. So far have you tried any transaction with your Visa (in case Amex is not accepted?). How fast is the transaction posting?

Have to be manually linked over the branch and this can be done at any Maybank branch nationwide.

The posting of MBB2 VISA transactions is always slow while MBB2 AMEX is very fast. In fact, i believe it is the fastest in Malaysia. Transactions will be posted to your M2U even during public holidays thumbup.gif

Slow, very slow. When i booked a hotel room in Hong Kong via Accor website back in February, it took one week before the transaction is posted to my M2U.

It's up to the merchant. The date could vary and may or may not fall on weekends.
