You won't get access to MAS lounge if you are whatever type credit card holder from any banks in Malaysia.

You forgot DA VI, MBB WMC and MAS Amex Business Card.

I received 2 MAS Golden Lounge vouchers when I applied for DA VI last year.

MBB WMC by virtue of being an Enrich Silver member (if you opt with Golden Lounge Privilege). Same applies to MAS Amex Business Card (Enrich Silver / Gold).

Only CIMB/DA VI by way of golden lounge voucher..

Forgot about the MAS Amex Business card and some cards via lounge voucher.
MAS lounge is rather good as compared to a 3rd party lounge which you can get access to via the Priority Pass card. Plaza Premium Lounge is our local version of the 3rd party lounge and there are discernible difference as compared to MAS lounge.

I agree 100%. Especially the MAS Golden Lounge in London Heathrow. Difference is world apart.

Hi, i'm planning to apply 1 CC that can gain me access to airport lounge. Considering Allianze Platinum CC as they r having the 2% cashback promotion. But wondering where is the term that mentioned the complimentary access to airport lounge? It's not available in their website ler.. Allianze

By the way, my annual income is <100k so cant consider other VI.. sad.. so would be good if u guys can recommend any good CC for these privileges:
- with welcome gifts / cash rewards (SCB)
- cashback on spendings
- airport lounges (preferably with access to worldwide airport lounge as m going to London next yr March)

If you want oversea airport lounge, I guess you need Priority Pass Membership which currently does not come with any Plat cards issued in Malaysia. You want London MA airport lounge, then different story, read above posts.

You can consider Citibank PremierMiles, get 2X free access to worldwide airport lounges with the Priority Pass and 12 times combined entries to KLIA and LCCT PPL. But to note the card earns you "airmiles". 1st year free annual fee and check out if you swipe 3 times get RM50 cash back or not.

Under BUSINESS PLATINUM, there is a statement below:

"Complimentary entry at the KLIA Plaza Premium Airport Lounge (valid for 1st 150 Platinum Cardmembers per month, subsequent Cardmembers will receive 50% discount on entry charges and all guest(s) of Cardmembers will receive 25% discount on entry charges)"

We are talking about Alliance Plat, not Biz Plat. But , I can understand why you refer to Biz Plat because I don't think you can find any info on Alliance Unlimited Free entries to KLIA PPL with the normal plat in their website.

Actually i find Amex Platinum Credit Card / Charge Card not bad.. as they r giving the complimentary to their Platinum cardholders (both principal & supplementary) the access to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge, LCCT & Senai lounge.

Just tat now tat im already hv MBB wif their Maybankard2Gold.. takkan Amex again.. should I sacrifice my 5% cash rebate for the complimentary access? *dilemma*

Simple .... how often do you fly vs. how often do you get or will get the rebate. Decide from there.
You want a card then apply for it and if you are undecided then apply for both / pay GST for all cards. If you can afford to fly then RM50 GST per year is nothing.

And this is not a forum to discuss on how to help you make a decision and yourself being undecided, we can't help you on that.

MBB AMEX Platinum can't access to any of the Premium Loungue...

I believe Amex Platinum CC and Charge Card are able to access the premium lounges (not your MBB 2 cards)
