Did you see the front desk officer swipe your card? Or did you sign any transaction slip?

If RHB charged you without your knowledge, then it is really unethical. For my Alliance Platinum debit card, the front desk officer would inform me if the quota is full.
Damn it! I also received the notification. Now I don't have any cards that allow me to enter KLIA and LCCT Plaza Premium Lounges for free.

To me, benefit of these 2 cards sucks. Furthermore, complimentary airport lounge access is not my main criteria for card selection.

According to the CS who answered me this morning, Alliance Platinum credit cardholders can still enjoy unlimited free access to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge.

New update July 2011
9. Citibank PremierMiles Visa Signature - 12 free access to both KLIA and LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge

the correct terms:
"12 complimentary visits per calendar year for KLIA and LCCT combined."

Not 100% correct, PB issued cards like Alliance Premier Debit Card, Citibank Plat, RHB Platinum, UOB Plat FREE AF and grants you free access to LCCT PPL.

nop. i dont care about post count at all. just want to differentiate reply. besides i did edit on previous post ~
haha, and your Plat Debit Card no quota doh.gif But, yah, I will agree with you that UOB Plat don't have much benefits and quota habis very fast and thus no point having it (unless one is into Coach handbags).

erry, there is a reason why you should not post consecutively. If everybody were to post separately like you wanting to differentiate replies, imaging what our threads will look like and what you are dong just makes the thread have more pages and directly causing us to start a new V. As I have mentioned before, you are a Senior Member, last time years back, the MOD would have issued you warning. Having said that, if maybe after 2 days you post separately to bump up thread so that other will not miss your sharing, then it is okay. If you were to do what you are doing now at Garage Sale, Mod would issue you warning and even close your thread by now. Anyway, suka you lah, I will not repeat this reminder again.

if mod issue me a warning, or closed my thread, etc. i also dont mind ~

just want to contribute / share info with others here. anything else, doesnt matter ~

oh btw,
yes alliance debit got quota, but not the quota i care, but can enter more than 1 time per month.
while the uob, can only enter 1 time per month. see the diff?
the simple case is, using alliance debit, can enter again on return flight in the same month, or even for 2-3 flights per month.

However, the monthly quota for Alliance debit cards is very low, such as 50 pax for Alliance Platinum debit card and 40 pax for Alliance Premium debit card for KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge. A few months ago when I tried to use Alliance Platinum debit card to enter KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge on the 15th, the quota had finished. Anyway, we can't even use Alliance Platinum debit card to get complimentary access to both KLIA and LCCT Plaza Premium Lounges anymore from November onwards.

if the month is school holiday / festive month, then yes, the quota will finished early sweat.gif

now thinking to get eon (hlb) card that can access the lounge.
their matta card stated "Applicable for the first 700 EON Bank Group cardmembers each month at LCCT, KLIA and Senai Airport".
source: http://www.hlb.com.my/pfs/cc/cc_matta_fb.jsp?flag=cc_matta

while gsc and the store card stated "Complimentary 500 entries per month at the Plaza Premium Lounge in KLIA, LCCT and Senai Airport"
source: http://www.hlb.com.my/pfs/cc/ccgsc_fb.jsp?flag=ccgsc & http://www.hlb.com.my/pfs/cc/cc_thestorepa...thestorepacific

which 1 is true? 500 or 700?

and is that quota (i take it as 500) combined for all 3 airports?

Added on October 8, 2011, 3:12 pmany1 using eon (now hlb) can confirmed this?

hope MATTA card is not affected, since the card is created for travellers.

gst is rm50/year. and i got 7 flights (14 including return) for next year so far.
so less than rm4/entrance. not bad brows.gif

Added on October 8, 2011, 3:46 pmrefer to matta card website, still shows 700 and EON (700 EON Bank Group cardmembers).

Five days ago I thought I could use my Alliance Platinum debit card to enter LCCT Plaza Premium Lounge for the very last time since Alliance Bank will terminate this benefit for its debit cards from November 2011 onwards. I was rejected as the quota was full.

Not sure about Matta, but the GSC-Hong Leong Platinum Card is 500 for KLIA, LCCT & Senai and 100 for Changi Singapore.

Ambank CS told me that Ambank conventional Platinum cc can access 13 local and internatonal lounges. How true is that?
