Depends on how do you spend, some might find bigger amount better while some may find RM800 is easier to achieve. Don't think i can get it this month though. Just 140 RM150 available in the RM1500 category in the first month and i won't be around in Malaysia much this month. Won't be using my card overseas either as i already bought all the foreign currencies i need

Given the nature of 1st come 1st serve, its better to have the 3k or lower denomination, as its definitely difficult to find something at 5k above that you can buy at one go on the first day of the promotion period to ensure you get the bonus.

Sure you could wait until the spending accumulates to 5k but you never know the when the bonus runs out :/

Just to be safe, it's better to achive that target in the first 3 days but even 3 days is generous already, IMO

lol i get spend 1500 get 150. but since there will only be 280 winners under this category (1st come 1st serve), i pass. if u want to be sure to win, u have to spend TODAY before 12PM, before the others 'aware' of this promotion.

maybe OCBC did this to attract their cardmembers, who have been turned by maybank2 amex like me as their primary card.

Agreed with you that all bonuses will be snapped up within the 1st day. Tried that on similar UOB promo last time and was unsuccessful even swiped on noon on the first day. Better to swipe with MBB2Amex to get 5xtreatpoints guranteed.

Anyone knows how to retrieve the previous monthly statement? Everytime I just see it online for that particular month, didn't save it for future reference. Forgot how much I spent for the past 1 year. Hope it's not something RM9999.95....
