Insurance premium is out of 5% rebate category (petrol. utility bills, grocery, dinning), so it will entitle 1% rebate. smile.gif

You get 2%(Titanium) or 3% (Platinum) rebate if you charge to OCBC Great Eastern Cards.

Something interesting. I inquired about this matter and the CS explained and give me this example:

My statement is 12 July to 12 August. If a purchase is made on August (a new month), before the statement date, and its 5% rebate is RM1.23, it will be rounded up to RM1.20. I will get the balance RM0.03 in the next cycle.

the above is true and confirmed. Just FYI

Just got my statement.

Luna Bar IS NOT in 5% category.

Some of the cafes in Melbourne also did not registered under the 5% category. Wonder what is their MCC. The only 5% i got from my Melbourne trip is for petrol purchase.

Mine appeared in the latest statement a few days ago. It was billed on the same day as the Usage Bonus, though it was hidden from Unbilled Transactions until the statement came out hmm.gif

Surprising as most f&B outlets in hotels follow the hotel MCC and not the dining mcc.

I guess I'll wait for the next few days (= Statement Date) to see the GST.
