1. In the paper statement, can you see the breakdown of the rebate? in the statement at OCBC online, can only view the total rebate and having problem tracking down which transaction didnt get 5%.

2. Can anyone confirm that other transactions which do not get the 5% rebate, will get 1% instead?
*
1. No what you see in the paper statement is pretty much identical to the online statement.

2. Yes, as long as you haven't exceed the RM50 / statement cycle limit, except for some things listed in their T&C, eg cash advance, installments.

Latest Megasale Promotion

http://www.ocbccards.com.my/magicmoments/index.aspx

QUOTE
The system will auto-trigger the “Magic Moments” and give away rebates ranging from 5% to 100% for the qualifying transactions on a daily basis throughout the Promotion Period.

Any Principal and Supplementary Cardmember who happens to swipe a transaction (i.e. qualifying transaction) during the “Magic Moments” will get to enjoy the rebate (e.g. The system triggers a 20% rebate at 11hour:30minutes:30seconds, any purchase made at that time will enjoy 20% rebate).
Considering the time is not announce beforehand, sounds like trying to buy a winning 4D number laugh.gif

Jusco Supermarket 1Utama can get 5% according to some forummers... TBC
*
That was when the Supermarket was separated from the Dept Store.

As of today re-opening, both Supermarket and Dept Store is housed together like in Midvalley, Sunway, etc, so it could be possible that they have consolidated the Credit Card terminals under a single MCC code.

Annual fee waiver credited in because you paid it previously and now it's credited back after 12 swipes?
Hmm so we have to pay the AF first, and not automatic.
*
Nope, both annual fee charged posted and waiver credited together in the same day, sorry if there was any confusion.

Anybody's OCBC Titanium get charged the GST yet ?
Mine received the Annual Usage Bonus but no GST shown... hmm.gif
*
Mine appeared in the latest statement a few days ago. It was billed on the same day as the Usage Bonus, though it was hidden from Unbilled Transactions until the statement came out hmm.gif

Depends on how do you spend, some might find bigger amount better while some may find RM800 is easier to achieve. Don't think i can get it this month though. Just 140 RM150 available in the RM1500 category in the first month and i won't be around in Malaysia much this month. Won't be using my card overseas either as i already bought all the foreign currencies i need    doh.gif
*
Given the nature of 1st come 1st serve, its better to have the 3k or lower denomination, as its definitely difficult to find something at 5k above that you can buy at one go on the first day of the promotion period to ensure you get the bonus.

Sure you could wait until the spending accumulates to 5k but you never know the when the bonus runs out :/

Someone reported here that Jusco 1U supermarket falls under 5%. Went and happily swipe 200+ and now turned out to be 1%.  vmad.gif  mad.gif

Maybe due to the consolidation to all in one. But they still have a separate counter of its own what. vmad.gif  mad.gif
*
That was the supermarket at the old location before Jusco 1U consolidated and reopened in its current new location. I guess now its safe to say no Jusco supermarket offers 5% anymore.

Same here... I guess iPay88 system linked to the restaurant's MCC... This is very good for us.
*
Just to share, in Citibank Online there's this expense planner where you can see in what category you swiped your credit card, surprisingly even though all the Group Buy sites uses iPay88, in Citibank Online some actually got divided into Dining while others Lifestyle, etc.

It could indeed mean that when the deal is setup to be paid through iPay88, a category or MCC code was set as well.

did you guys receive pamphlet informing that OCBC cards get extra 2% rebate for overseas? Promotion starts on21st Nov to8 January 2012. However, only RM8K per week is allocated for this promo! On top of that, max rebate per cardholder limited to RM100 through out the promotion period!!!
*
Saw it with my paper statement.

Limited T&C stated there though, I wonder if extra implies only for the current 5% MCC's or all spending overseas rclxub.gif

If you could max out Rm 50 each month, there is no need to pay for the GST as well. tongue.gif
Free GST for spending of RM 10K and above annually.

thumbup.gif The only card that does it automatically and save you the hassle of the whole "I want to cancel my card unless you waive GST" act with the Customer Service smile.gif

Now it seems Groupon has changed to a new payment system, it even bypasses the TAC request.
