maybe OCBC met their quota already in issuing CC & want to serve their customer well. hmm.gif

Maybe they will stop accepting card member when they reach a certain quota.
Wonder why SCB stop recruiting customer for their Titanium card, same reason?

Please refer to the list in first post.
Up till today, only Jusco Supermarket (1U) is confirmed can get 5% cashback from OCBC Ti. This is however not an exhaustive list. Feedback from OCBC Ti cardmembers will be much appreciated.

There is a indirect way to make sure you can get 5% rebate from purchases at Jusco Supermarket and that is using the gift vouchers bought on weekend using MBB2Amex. Moreover the vouchers have no due date. Jusco Bukit Indah JB only gives 1% rebate using OCBC Ti.

Langkawi Saga Duty Free Shop @kuah - 5% rebate
Langkawi DFZ & Wawasan @P.Cenang - 1% rebate

Sometimes paying cash gives better discount eg. 1 litre Bailey only RM49 cash but rm60 if using CC.

Normally it would be 1% Cash Back as Jusco is not part of Grocery's MCC code
*
However if you have MBB2Amex you can use it to purchase Jusco Vouchers on weekend to enjoy 5% rebate + 5xTreatPoints and then use these vouchers on Jusco Department Store or Supermarket on any day.

andyfriends, mletee, stacko did you all get your OCBC Ti Cards only in 2011 ?
This promo for selected OCBC CC holders only thru SMS.
Wonder whether it is for new cardholders who didn't participate in the last bonus promo in end2010.

Guys, I found something interesting on OCBC website

Actually there will be 5 Cash Bonus promotions for selected card members from tomorrow onwards

The promotions will be:
RM50 Cash Bonus Promotion 1
RM50 Cash Bonus Promotion 2
RM80 Cash Bonus Promotion
RM100 Cash Bonus Promotion
RM500 Cash Bonus Promotion

Attached is the summary for these promotions
*
Looks like diff OCBC CCs have their own promo.
Which type of transaction will have the fastest posting? OCBC online payment?
First come first serve based on posting time of transaction, according to the CS.
So those who were selected, good luck when the clock strikes twelve tonight.

That's why I compliment the OCBC Titanium, with another CC for insurance, that offers unlimited 1% cash back.
*
For me I pay my AIA policies with MBB2Amex and get unlimited 5x treatpoints.

lol i get spend 1500 get 150. but since there will only be 280 winners under this category (1st come 1st serve), i pass. if u want to be sure to win, u have to spend TODAY before 12PM, before the others 'aware' of this promotion. laugh.gif

Agreed with you that all bonuses will be snapped up within the 1st day. Tried that on similar UOB promo last time and was unsuccessful even swiped on noon on the first day. Better to swipe with MBB2Amex to get 5xtreatpoints guranteed.

Got the RM300 for 3K offer too, but definitely skipping as I was disappointed didn't get the RM100 for RM1,000 spending for the 16 May - 15 July 2011 campaign although I met the condition for both months. Do they actually pay out the rebates as I don't see any names published?
*
Did you achieve the > rm1000 spending on the first day ie 16-may? Otherwise not much chance of getting the cash bonus.
I think they do list out the winner names on their website.

Is this the link to apply online?
http://www.ocbccards.com.my/titaniumApply.aspx

The column "Refer two friends and together you might win Media Passes to Big Bad Wolf Event."
I should put for those already has the CC or not yet?
Questions:
AFAIK, Auto-pay for streamyx can get rebate RM4 by TMNet, so OCBC will give 1% rebate again, am I right?
If yes, total rebate is very close to 5%, so I prefer to make it auto-pay  hmm.gif
*
OCBC will give 5% rebate for utilities bill.

Someone reported here that Jusco 1U supermarket falls under 5%. Went and happily swipe 200+ and now turned out to be 1%.  vmad.gif  mad.gif

Maybe due to the consolidation to all in one. But they still have a separate counter of its own what. vmad.gif  mad.gif

If you have read properly, we have mentioned the most jusco outlets falls under the 1%category. It is better to use Jusco cc or MBB2Amex. If u have Amex you can purchase the Jusco gift vouchers on weekend to get the 5% rebate+5xTP, and use them on anyday.

Do anyone know if the cash rebate applicable for Jaya Jusco?
Thx

So far Jusco gives a rebate of 1% including the grocery dept. Best card to use for Jusco purchase is to use MBB2Amex (7.5% for weekend or 2.5% for weekday, or you can use the card to purchase Jusco vouchers on weekend(and earned 7.5% rebate) and use them anytime you like).

For the DIGI Broadband Smartplan68(advanced payment of rm568) packaged with Smartphone (rm399), billed separately at the DIGI Centre, would the payment of rm568 considered as utility bill which earns a 5% rebate?

Purchase similar package at Maxis Centre at 1Utama and both phone &call plan enjoys 5% rebate.

Normally I would check my unbilled transactions on OCBC online to make sure that I would stop using the CC once my cash rebate reaches rm50.
However for the current cycle, I notice that the transactions shown online were not promptly updated. So after calling the CS they informed me that they have improved the format as the transactions are split into pages and I need to click the <next> button on the bottom right corner.
So for this cycle I have exceeded using this card and the rebate would have been rm60 if there is no cap. Improved format MY FOOT!!
