Froyo-ing success on 3rd try. Might hang so just redo the whole process. but the phone keeps on saying process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, please try again. I have to go into airplane mode to stop this. Help!!!

I got the problem upgrading through kies, the phone just get disconnect after few seconds i press on the  upgrade button.. then the pop up for "new firmware for upgrade" come out again, the same process keep on repeating..

anyone get this problem?

i still fail... no boot screen show up..

wait a minutes... how come my free space only 193mb only?? dammm need to repartition again...

I thinks some people with non IT experience will have problem with this version. its required ext4 partition before flashing. but good luck. im downloading

second partition? did you set it up? to me it take about 1min . then need to wait about 10min on boot screen, then waaaalla! 800++ mb freespace.

1) go to android market on your computer.

2) click > My Market Account

3) click > Settings - You'll see your device (your phone) listed there. If not click > Don't see your device? > follow the instructions

4) Then , On your phone, > settings > accounts & sync > tick Auto-sync  , You'll see your google account below , if no, tab on the "Add Account" and add your google account there.

5) Once you've done the above, you'll be able to download apps from Market either using your phone or your computer.

The 800mb free space is from where? Phone memory or ext2 partition? btw how big is your ext2 partition space?

Motafoca 2.2 or official rom... which one is better?

last night i tried this, but it still can't download apps from market thru kies. I tot my kies is old version, so i updated to the new one and it still can't.  even they say i can update new firmware but still dun have anything. One thing, i notice i have "USB debugging" and "USB connected" on my phone. Do i need to "mount" my SD card and turn off the "USB Debugging" in order for it to download??
