Guys,

I recently switched to Motafoca Dev Team's newest rom release, 2.0.9 Final and also applied the compass fix.

I am surprised at how solid this custom rom is in terms of performance and reliability. I say 'surprised' because I have heard and read several reports from people saying that this rom is slow, buggy, etc. whereas I have experienced it to be quite suitable for daily use.

So I want to ask those of you who are using or have used Motafoca's custom roms, what are your experiences? Was there anything in particular that you did (tweaks/customizations) that you did to improve performance? Do you think this rom is better or worse than stock eclair?

Did you move dalvik cache, I have 100++ apps but only 20mb left

I haven't tried swap or alternative file systems yet. Too lazy    Does it really make a difference?

When i try to root my Galaxy 5 with universal androot, the program shows : Sorry! the application Univesal Androot (process com. corner23.android.universalandroot) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again. then force close. whats wrong with my phone???

I tried z4root also didnt work. i never do anything with my phone before. any suggestion??

I have been trying for days to get link2sd to work on my G5 but keep getting cannot mount 2nd partition message. I use MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition to partition the sdcard. iI have got a 8gb sandisk card. i have set both partition to primary, i have tried set 2nd partition as fat32, ext2, above 1gb size, below 1gb size, below 512mb, 400mb, etc. all those combination does not work for me. you are my last hope. can share with me what is the tweaks that u have done to make it work? pleaseeeeeeee! thanks!!
