sory2... yup I5503DXJG5 our firmware.. miss look at csc..
in samfirmware only had india firmware... anyone know how to get direct download from fus.samsung for our firmware?

my cousin's G5 set screen lock pattern..Then his little brother played with the screen lock and now the whole phone got locked up..Any solution to that?

Help!!

i connected my phone and my Kies is able to detect my phone. Then i went to android market place, then i tried to install some apps. Then it pop up said the apps will be downloaded shortly. Then after awhile i see nothing happened, i check my "order history". They said i installed. But i nvr see any apps installed

how a?? ....

it's been 3 days since i get my phone and i have nothing yet in my phone.......my house no wifi, i use digi broadband....

did you list your phone no when you register in the android market. and you need to sync your phone to your google account.

i just added my google account when i went to mcd to use their wifi. Then i went to my android market account and see, they show my phone is listed there...

i didn't list my phone no eh.....

i'm lost liao...ahhhh...

and sync you mean how??

1) go to android market on your computer.

2) click > My Market Account

3) click > Settings - You'll see your device (your phone) listed there. If not click > Don't see your device? > follow the instructions

4) Then , On your phone, > settings > accounts & sync > tick Auto-sync , You'll see your google account below , if no, tab on the "Add Account" and add your google account there.

5) Once you've done the above, you'll be able to download apps from Market either using your phone or your computer.

i think i manage to download official froyo firmware... i will update if i success... hope internet not lag here..=.=

For those who have previously flashed to motafoca's you can flash back and update to official froyo via kies :

1) download I5503DXJG5 firmware here http://www.multiupload.com/S4QJCZ0SPO

2) follow the flashing instructions here http://forum.g5devteam.com/index.php?/topi...galaxy-5-i5500/

3) IMPORTANT : For Part D item #8) replace "I5500-MOTAFOCA-2.0.9.tar.md5" file with the downloaded I5503DXJG5 firmware.

4) After finished, connect to KIES and you can update to the official froyo 2.2.

hi guys...found in xda... how to make own back-up and who have done it hope can share with others


In order to copy the decrypted firmware archive, please :
Click Start button and go to Run. In Run field enter : %temp%
This will open Explorer in your temorary folder. When you run the software upgrade, KIES will create a temporary file where it will store the encrypted firmware. When the download is done, KIES will inform you that it is decrypting firmware. It will do this in the same folder as stated above. The decrypted zip file with firmware will be stored in a temp folder as something similar like "tmp2B3.tmp.zipfolder.
Your telephone will enter download mode. Now you have some 2 precious minutes to copy the firmware .zip archive from the folder above to another safe folder that will not be removed by KIES after update is over.
Now you will have a backup of the new firmware and could use it to go back to original froyo for your region everytime after testing some other version of the firmware.

ahh..thanks alex....i checked my phone and the auto-sync is not checked. I now in office and will try download again once i back home later today.....

I tried to update my firmware but Kies said my phone is not able to upgrade...i wonder why...maybe like other forumer say, i need to bring to samsung center to manually flash by them?

u upgrade through samsung kies?
