Hi all,

I just upgraded to official Froyo 2.2. Everything is working fine. The main reason that i want upgrade to Froyo is i want to install the application to SD card. May i know, now i in Froyo, so how can i install the application to SD? Is it already got built in this function? or do i need to install another application to install the app to SD?

Can anyone tell me where the android market download/installed apps are located? (which folder?) for Froyo 2.2?

In eclair 2.1 i can easily copy the apk files for backup, but in 2.2 the files seems to have moved to a hidden place.

Thanks... where you get this firmware from?
noticed the firmware in the .rar is I5503OLBJP6.tar, which is a code for CSC.. hopefully this is the right once aint'?

1) Only certain apps can be move to SD card in froyo 2.2.
2) However if you want most of your apps to move to SD card, you'll need to partition your SD card, i.e. 1st partition - FAT32 primary and 2nd partition as either Ext2, or Ext3 or Ext 4 also primary.
3) Then install Link2SD from the Market.

5) If you want to used Apps2SD, you'll need another partition, i.e. Linux Swap parttition.

It's in > settings >applications > manage applications

im not sure. i think its just home launcher.. many apps are available for mimic windows phone 7

already got built-in function, go to setting > application > manage application >select any application > move to sd.

my first partition(FAT32) does not detected by my G5, but I can see see it on my COmputer.. help!..

the launcher name is called launcher 7, its available in the android market.

yup i had try it...someone had confirm it.. it same... the csc, phone, and pda version same...
after flash at language change had bahasa malaysia and swype also had bahasa malaysia....
so im pretty sure its the correct one...

MadTeam 2.2 is awesome! I have internal memory of +800MB after flashing!

For those who wants this MADTEAM 2.2 , follow the instructions here :

Before flashing, you need to

1) Root your phone first.
2) Partition your sdcard into three partitions : 1st - FAT32 , 2nd - either EXT2 or EXT3 or EXT4 (not more than 2GB, I used 1GB) , 3rd - Linux Swap
(not more that 200MB , I used 110MB) all must be primary

After you have done the above, Flash your phone.

The new rom doesn't use your Internal Phone Memory, Instead it uses your SDcard as the internal memory.

i think the problem is from is your partition type. make primary for both partition. try reformat. all will works well. however if you sdcard class 2 - 4 maybe you will fell some lag. however just try. its a good rom.
