I was wondering the same thing. Anyway, have they implemented this new rate? No news on their website regarding this.---> Maxis & Hotlink Fans Club v6 <---, Hotlink: Life Unlimited

about the New Hotlink Plan, i want to highlight the information below that appears on Maxis Forum now
after your credit expired, it seems there is 50 days grace period, but if you do not top up within 30 days any leftover credit will be forfeited this sounds very like the old Hotlink plan from ~2004, except then the overall grace period was 90 days Maxis seems hell bent on grabbing our credit and terminating our line You are still able to receive call and SMS during the grace period. It will remain active for another 50 days from the day of deactivation. E.g: You top up on 01/01/12 for RM10; it will be valid until 10/01/12. Your credit will still remain in your account for another 30 days (09/02/12) and will be forfeited if you did not reload. You will be given another 20 days until 28/02/11 before the line is expired and will be disconnected. |

QUOTE(szaku89 @ Dec 29 2011, 01:04 AM) Many things is not mentioned on the Hotlink website, especially they still do not quote the reload validity period50 days grace period is mentioned, but not the 30 days credit forfeit And when I call 122, it announces 90 days grace period, and 50 days before credit is forfeited But the grace period is confirmed as 50 days when I check balance under *122# Indeed my old number terminated after 50 days, which I let happen since Maxis tricked me into this so-called plan upgrade Hotlink really in a mess these days This post has been edited by dgboy: Dec 29 2011, 10:18 AM |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Dec 28 2011, 06:43 PM) The new rate is only for those who changed to the new value plus internet plan, if I'm not mistaken. the new rate is also applicable for the postpaid monthly 100MB, 500MB etc as well when the quota is exceeded. here is the source http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/br...earch/index.asp the pay as u use without a monthly data plan still the same cutthroat 10cent/10KB. |

Maxis just sent me a SMS:
"We are pleased to inform that your Mobile Internet quota has been increased to Monthly 1.5GB (M) at NO extra charge effective 4/1/2012." Currently, i'm using the RM58 500MB data plan bundled with Value50 call plan. This certainly a good news, at least to me |

Guys,
Im planning of getting Value Plus 80 postpaid. It says that it is RM0.12/m to Maxis #s. But below in small wordings it says; "Calls are charged in 30 second blocks for all rate plans." Does it mean that it's RM0.06 per 30 seconds or RM0.12/30seconds? |

Means example a short call from 1second to 30seconds you will be charge only 6cents
In some case if the block is like 60seconds block u will be charge 12cents from 1second to 60seconds |
