seems to be slightly cheaper...

Mine expired last month. Now I am using celcom skmm for rm25

Wanna ask.. 250MB per month is it sufficient for Whatsapp?

Hey guys , i had an issue . I'm a data plan user of 1.5gb = RM 50 ... but lately ... i cancel the bill halfway cuz i don't use a smartphone anymore as temporary .. and now my bill from 100 became rm 315 .... and i wasn't told that it will be charge pro-rated ... how do i solve this issue . " it's kinda heart aching . from 100 i need to fork out another 200 zz ... and i'm just a student paying my own bills .

Any MAXIS users here signed for surfmore plan ? im just wondering is that really true MAXIS never charge if quota exceeded, and they just throttle the bandwidth...so once throttle the bandwidth after exceed quota, what the speed like ?

Some calculation in my mind now after see the plan:

lets say buy 50 plan for 1 year/12 months (50x12=600 ).. maxis sell phone at RM1849
total cost = 2449

actual cost phone--> 2299
annual telco plan =150
(2299+150=2449).

which also means RM150/12=12.5 (monthly telco cost)

In the end, can i consider myself buy phone at RM2299, with monthly telco plan commitment at RM12.5 excluding calls.
Am i right to say this?

Also, pls advise any advance payment needed as t&c to take up this plan?

phone already release. Note 2 i guess within 1 year still will price at 2299, note 1 still is at 2k benchmark as per last month visit to several shops.

Agree there is alot telco to choose for but i think i opt to Maxis. Currently is Digi prepaid old user and disappointed with their network coverage.

Most of the time i will use it for light surfing ie Watsapp and fb. Im light user. Altou there is cheaper plan such as Digi smarplan, based on previous history, im fine to pay more to get better line. Network quality is important.

Calls is not a concern to me.. yet. Monthly call may less than 60 min and sms more often only. I guess is less than 200 sms/mth. I have no problem in handling this extra charges.

erm i can give it a try. im am light internet user of cos. so far i guess it will suit me best. Plus i have wifi at home. can turn data off to avoid over use.

For calls : RM50 to RM70
For datas : WhatsApp, games (multiplayer games), basic surfs, Waze, download new app & games.
Basically Mid usage but definitely not aggressive cause I have VIP20 as my main damage.

Any advise or I just simple stick with my current plan (Value Plus 50) and just relay wifi for internet access?

hello. i would like to enquire on surf more 50. Would like to know what is the speed given for this plan? I checked on my data quota and it says "Subscribed to Data GPRS 2GB" Limit : 341.3MB. I thought I signed up for a 2 GB plan? What does it mean by 341.3MB only? And the term GPRS means the speed is GPRS's speed isit?

sorry correct me if i am wrong. shouldn't my plan be of 2GB instead of 341.3MB?
