Just top up min RM10 in 1 transaction by 12/6. Receive RM3 free credit by 14/6. NOT VALID for Share-A-Top Up nor Hot Ticket. (31825A). " i normally received sms when the number a few days about to terminated...ask me to topup rm10..then get rm10 free few days later... Added on June 15, 2011, 5:50 pm 200 only laaaa double only.... I topped up on 11th. Just wondering why they did not credit the RM3 bonus into my balance. |

QUOTE(Jefferson1983 @ Jul 8 2011, 08:28 AM) thanks for the info. One thing, you can't check your usage via Maxis, have to track down usage on your own. They won't tell you even you have already exceeded the quota, when the bill comes you cry LOL. Many people kena that before. But so far Maxis have quite a stable and fast Data connection.this is what i am looking for "no speed barrier". Now i can register to maxis postpaid + data plan. |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Jul 22 2011, 04:18 PM) I just change from postpaid due to crazy bills monthly, and now this. What phone are you using? There is a chance that Whatsapp is running in the background even you have exited. This happens to me, using nokia 5800.Added on July 22, 2011, 4:54 pmCS called me, claimed that the lost balance goes to my data usage. Total BS, I don't even use any data on my phone and there's 1-2 times where WhatsApp sends me notification. I only reply when I'm on WiFi and totally monitor my data usage and what apps are running in the background. That's it, I'm changing telco soon! |

Thumbs up for Maxis maintaining its stability and speed of the network. One of my guess is, because of the extra charging after quota, which makes many ppl to turn off the data connection thus having less network congestion.

QUOTE(xMeltz @ Aug 29 2011, 04:40 PM) Hey all, Did you check with Hotlink E-statement online?I called Hotlink Customer Service regarding credit deduction for GPRS usage while I'm subscribed to data plan. The customer service asked me to Jailbreak my iPhone4 to turn off the GPRS. Is that even allow? As I recall, warranty void for Jailbroken iPhone with Maxis. Added on August 29, 2011, 4:46 pm Me! They charged me for GPRS usage while I'm in Free 500MB data plan and I have not exceed my data limit yet. I lodged a complain but they unable to solve my problem. How is your credit deduction problem? For my case, there is charges of GPRS usage, but it will be automatically rebated, this is what I understand from viewing the Hotlink E-statement, and I have called customer service before and they say the deductions are rebated. |

QUOTE(onelove89 @ Aug 29 2011, 09:56 PM) thinking of getting hotlink plan. Just wonder how is the speed of the 3g? I'll probably subscribe to the monthly plan. =) just from reading the post above, is there a prob with the plan regarding gprs and 3g? Maxis has the best 3G network (so far so good) compared to other telcos in terms of speed and stability. (feedback I heard from Maxis 3G thread)Problem regarding GPRS and 3G? You mean they overcharge us? Ya that happens sometimes, they might have some system glitches, me too experience such thing before but its rare and you can report to Maxis to claim the credit lost. QUOTE(dgboy @ Aug 29 2011, 10:59 PM) thanks for da tip. never tried that. i'm patient guy. got till 08 sep when my 30 days validity ends. You are patient and also very free LOL. |

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Aug 30 2011, 11:16 PM) I went to complaint too... but also not yet resolve... they say need 7 working days... Hey same case here. They deducted RM20 of Data charges, I am on monthly Mobile Internet plan. I tweeted them and they phoned me mentioning they will solve the problem soon. How long has your case pending? Shinichi did you report by phoning them? Added on August 30, 2011, 11:40 pm QUOTE(xMeltz @ Aug 30 2011, 01:34 PM) Yes I complain based on my E-Statement record. In half a day, GPRS deducted a total of RM40+ with RM2 each row in e-statement. There is still some deduction but not happen frequently. I think its better for you to tweet them to seek help instead of calling. What I found out is that the phone base customer service is not that up to par, I guess they are not that capable. They did say automatically rebated but on that particular day, my credit hasn't increase at all. It wasn't reflected in E-statement either. Therefore i asked for evidence, they couldn't provide me with evidence even I asked if I offered to pay a visit any Maxis Center for clarification. P/S: They used up 3 month to get back to me on this matter which I'm very unsatisfied. Those who replied my tweets and phoned me are very good in terms of knowledge and they way they solve your problem. Tweet them again if you are not satisfied with your solution. Maxis customer service's tweeter account is "MaxisListens". For my case, the person said he will refer it to a technical person to solve it, and definitely they will rebate the credits. QUOTE(Shinichi @ Aug 30 2011, 11:47 PM) I reported via call and also went to service center and they logged a case for me... but till now still no news from them yet... That is why i recommend you to use tweeter to report a problem. I have since solved many problems via tweeter already. Go ahead and tweet them tomorrow morning. |
