QUOTE(john9811 @ Aug 4 2011, 06:02 PM) Hey, I'd like to ask if I've subscribed to Maxis's iphone package and I don't want the spare credits (RM100 --) to go on waste as I'm a low user of the calls and sms, can I use the sim to subscribe to daily news or MP3 stuff to use up the credits? Will the charges incurred from the premium SMSes go towards the RM100 allocated for everything or go in a new bill? im no expert but i think your other subscriptions will be added on top of your rm100. telcos are too smart for this Thanks |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Dec 28 2011, 06:43 PM) The new rate is only for those who changed to the new value plus internet plan, if I'm not mistaken. the new rate is also applicable for the postpaid monthly 100MB, 500MB etc as well when the quota is exceeded. here is the source http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/br...earch/index.asp the pay as u use without a monthly data plan still the same cutthroat 10cent/10KB. |

just got the 18rm 1GB bb from maxis activated.
Immediately i tried it on my computer but it seems that its not as responsive and sometimes even disconnected when browsing. It keeps changing its connection between wcdma and hspa and hsdpa. This is even worse than the mobile internet from maxis when i am tethering to tha same computer in the same area. Is it true that broadband is generally worse than the mobile internet for maxis? Noob here, tq |
