Got one info from a friend , 42GT is around 4000 free BRP and 1 specs while 50 is VT NOT GT model around 6000 with BRP and 2 specs ~!

Now u know, 42GT is not RM10K..... so you see now, who ever told you 42GT is RM10K, they want to make huge profit.....
42GT around 4K also consider little bit expensive... because Ah Yong get RM3.4K....

i got cheated by a shop, ordered P50V20K + PWP digi-cam,
both item they sent = used
the plasma got serious burn in w/ Discovery HD logo and top-bottom black bar,
+ running time 850+ hr upon reaching me
then the digi-cam warranty seal broken, color doesn't match the box, battery hilang...
wtf i right now tiao their store manager and ask for full refund,
then buy from elsewhere
will disclose the shop name once i settle my thing

p/s: not to mentioned their dishonest but they also selling expensive..

50GT N/A in Malaysia, I think so...
How you know your TV running time 850+ hours upon reaching you???? can check the running time????
I think very hard to full refund lah....

that the reasons i always request seller to provide me the box (product) that seal with original tape...
also i will check on the box condition whether any major dented...
at least can prove that they never open the product and throw the box aside without care...

call panasonic immediately, complain to them that you got a demo set

Been following this thread now for quite sometime. Wanting to get a pana plasma but torn between these 2:
42GT20: Great PQ, great price now (3.4k), but read about the 50Hz motion issues? Fading black? (basically minor 2010 panel issues)
42U30: Uncomparable PQ to GT (like toyota & merc), better USB playback, wifi, cheap (<2k)

Should i invest the extra 1.5k & take the jump? Any inputs are much welcomed.

You mean the Panny service guy have some sort of machine to keep track the hours or the user can check the hours...
If the user can check the use hours by it self, teach me how to check.......

voice your complaint to everywhere, to the shop, to manufacturer(I am sure they are very interested in customer feedback ), as a last resort to tribunal court(make sure you collect lots of evident to prepare for your case), to newspaper.....

no la, now planning to buy BR player if can play then no need to buy 3d player lor

can... but just to let u know, u need to download half side by side movie (resolution 1920X1080). If u download the full side by side (3840X1080).. u cant play it...

Can I ask how bad is the reflection for 2011 model P42U30K?
It's a new model, with Dlna support, full HD and below 2k. Really suits my requirements.

what is the best price you get so far?

have seen it in jusco one u and seems that the screen is not as reflective as i thought.

for the price i think is worth it.

some more can pay mkv files.

got resolution enhancing feature (2011 model) which should be helping sd tv (astro) quality become clearer.
