wondering what size of plasma TV suitable for my living area? 42" or 50"? i think the distance between seat and TV about 8-10feet... 42" or 50"? no planned for 3D contents at the moments or in short term... TH-P42U30K / TH-P50U30K good to start with?

almost the same price range between both models but i no planned for 3D contents... which more suitable for me?
will P42GT20K overkill based on my requirements if without watch the 3D contents?

u30 is a low end full HD model, no anti-reflection coating, Moving Picture Resolution  is only 900 lines

actually my viewing distance from TV to seat about 10 feet...
so i wondering is the 42" 3D tv sufficient to fulfill my enjoyment as i worry it may no big enough and may think for upgrade in future again... tongue.gif
but some of forumer commented that the TV size below 50" hardly to see 1080 pixel/resolution... any advise?

Go for the biggest you can afford.  My experience is minimum 50".  Now I realise 50" is not big enough.  Same for all my friends who bought 42" and say its enough.  Now they all realise its small.
*

same goes to me... last time i thought 32" HD ready is sufficient...
but after 1-2 years i felt it no big enough, slow HZ and bad moving picture...
perhaps i should upgrade direct to 50" rather than 42" as i may itchy to upgrade to 50" if i bought 42" later...
but i worry the 50" picture quality no meet my requirements and should rather go for 42" 3D... felt bit dilemma here... tongue.gif

that the reasons i always request seller to provide me the box (product) that seal with original tape...
also i will check on the box condition whether any major dented...
at least can prove that they never open the product and throw the box aside without care...
