How do you all find the signal strength of the Panasonic remote? I have to point the remote directly to the TV to work. I know this is IR and I should point it directly to the IR sensor on the TV. But Astro decoder remote definitely have a better IR strength. I can point the remote to the ceiling or even to my back and able to work. Reason is my father put a lot of stuff on the TV cabinet and the TV just mounted a bit higher on the wall and those stuff blocks the IR line of sight if I were to press the remote on the coffee table. I have to hold the remote higher to get it work.

I seen this too for a few occasion on 50VT20K. Can't recall how I get this. Seems like this happened after I switch around with the input source. However, this pink color screen always come from Astro Byond decoder. The color went back to normal after I reset either the TV or the Astro decoder. Not really sure if the source is causing this.

LED is also LCD lah , both using backlight technology except LED's LCD is brighter and with improvement on panels , much sharper images but less natural than Plasmas.

under controlled ambience , high end Plasmas has better detail in PQ as well.

Only certain file format are supported. I have tested VT with avi. Both rmvb and mkv are not supported. Better check with the particular model specifications.

Added on May 19, 2011, 1:56 pmWhats the supported resolution on the panny D-sub DB15 VGA PC input interface? I failed to get it to display in full HD.
With the TV switched to PC Input, I cant find the matching audio input to run concurrently. Did panny purposely left out the audio input functionality when we use the PC input?

The supported resolutions thru VGA PC input are listed in your manual.

The VGA connection is just for video (no audio). Do you have a separate audio output port from your PC? If yes, you will need to connect this to your home theater/separate speakers.

Alternatively, if your PC supports HDMI output (for both video and audio), then you should just use HDMI connection to the TV.

My TV is 23 feet away, and when I point the remote 90degree away from TV, it works fine, and point to top, almost 150 degree, and it works fine biggrin.gif
