I believe for my case, I not sure I am the only one who still Underpaid based on salary range for this C# programmer. Based what kellyservice.com.my salary should be around 2.8k to 3k depends on experience.

What I scare now is, Everything hike hike hike, electric, petrol, etc(called as Inflaction)

Should I jump? Any guy from developer or programmer position, how much request on next company, I get since my experience almost 2 years.

Added on June 2, 2011, 12:33 amI believe this year is worst year to me. Inflaction is expected jump more higher than any year before. Somemore I getting worry not enough to get paid for a car. Even save some salary to buy a proton car.

Technical related work (engineering, programming, etc) all start of low and get paid HIGH later on. This is the so called learning period.

u already mentioned it.

A developer's pay is proportional to his experience.
The "years of experience" ain't gonna justify you worth.

Can u write a third party software?
If you are the creator instead of the user,
I'm pretty sure you can demand for more.

You want to command high salary with 2 years experience? Good luck. When we're talking experience, we're talking about when you have reached a point to be regarded as SENIOR, where people come to you to solve their problems, not the other way around. When you achieve that status, then you can start commanding.

Indeed, I do agree some point that you justify especially Experience are not equal as your salary.
For myself, working in medium or MNC company, I expect salary should be around my expectation since
I do performing well and somemore do OT without complaning.
What I want is salary should adjusted more little at least from my expectation.
Ever a junior jump to my company 2 years experience, already can get 2.8k.
I am afraid is the longer stay on current company, I begin to think I am "Low Labor Cost Employee"

I feel if I been senior in current company, ever you have a Job title position so called Senior at there.
In other term, you get salary is not balancing as your title.
eg. IT manager(5 years experience in xx company) - basic salary oni 3k.
My current company now lot of worker not satisfly with their salary, almost I feel influence by them.
When the time come, ever programmer needed to do customer service.

Contractor normally get higher pay coz we dont have increment, dun have public holiday(public holiday mean pay cut), no epf, no bonus, can get terminated with 1 month notice. Not very good. Very risky
