I just came back from Brighstar. They want to take my #BlackBerry and send it to Singapore for repair. I have decided not to do it today coz I don't have backup bb or phone for that matter.

they didnt offer to loan u a bb curve? deposit RM500 (refundable)..

No one offered me those loan phone. But I did ask about 1 to 1 replacement policy. The guy told me that only applicable for fresh new phone or something. Mine was 5 months old. He didn't accept it.

lol got 1 forummer 1year+ oso got 1 to 1 replacements.. no need ask one, if they cant repair they will automatically give u one..

the bb curve they didnt offer u? hmm.. the previous time i spoke to them on the phone they did mention about it.. maybe now the offer canceled?

I bought my 9780 brighstar set about a month ago and found out that the 'T' button is slightly difficult to press..it doesnt have the 'click' feeling like any button else,

besides my bezel near the left convenience key dont fit into its position because when i grab my bb, i can feel that the bezel snap into its place.. And my left convenience key also need to press quite hard not like the volume button... I dont think it is normal though, can i send to brighstar for checking??

i juz send my bold 9780 to brighstar at 10.38 am juz now because of stuttered/double type keypad problem..and they said will call b4 lunch hour but until now havent call yet..during the staff check on my phone she said dat my phone might need to be send to singapore and need to wait for 1 month if its not software problem...i asked about repair centre in malaysia..they say still havent yet..so did i really need to wait for one month??am really confuse since i read in this post that repair centre will be on last month.now already june near to july..can someone explain to me?need help

yes its common case, they dont have repair centre here. will send all repairs to singapore. so need to wait 1 month.. maybe u're lucky they will give u 1 new bb to replace ur one

Yes..I call them yesterday n dey ask me 2 call back today..n I did call them n they said it ready to collect..when I go there..dey gve my old bb to me n i test it.the same problem still exist n I show it to them to make it clear.the staff then bring my bb inside and took out new bb for me..yes! I got my new replacement even my bold 9780 got some scratches..I really happy wif my new bold 9780 now!n I really love brighstar now.even they didn't have repair centre in m'sia,they willing to exchange 1-1..am really happy today.thx brighstar!

Stuttered keypad..I think its very common for bold 9780 user..when u type it will double..so its really make me annoyed with the bb n sometimes I feel like throwing it to the wall..huhu..now no problem anymore. still love brighstar! <3

Have u send it to brighstar?u shud send it first.n den call them ask bout ur fon.btw I juz send it n at 1st dey say have to send to sgapore coz my fon is lot of scratches.besides mine bought on january 2011.still at e end they replace me new one.

Went to brightstar service centre today to check on the price for cracked screen for Torch. Cost rm550! damn alot.. and need to send to sg some more.. atfirst they tried to tell me its 1k++ simply assume the inner screen is broken.

Friendly customer service but hate the 1 month waiting. 550.. damn it, any other ideas fellas?

Hi..juz got my 9780 replacement last week..n I realize the stuttered problem still exist infrequently..however it did happen.I don't know is it possible for me to go to claim warranty again.bcoz last tme I go brighstar didn't even recognize it until I show n explain to them.however dis time it so intermittent.am afraid impossible for them to find the issue.however it makes me annoyed.how can I know e 9780 wc didn't have dis problem.

Oh.. the new replacement also got the same problems? hurmms.. I'm itchy to go for that trade-in package by Digi..
