I can recommend you choose for roomba 561 remanufacture AeroVac version.
Cause it is can help u often to clean your vacuum bin by frequently.
One more thing, if your pet hair will drop at every corner pls clean it every after cleaning works with paint brush.
To be take care of Clean head module and bothbrush.
Don't let it stuck with pet hair.

My floor often have adult human hairs (from head, mostly short 3-7cm in length) and food crumbs (from kid). Should I get Roomba with AeroVac or without?

It is the option to you.

Cause AeroVac is best perform in pull out the hair such like own pet at home.
The other thing AeroVac vacuum bin is without dust collector.
For normal vacuum bin can be suck in many fine dust for any single clean.

If your home without pet, sure I highly recommended you getting standard version.

Compared from 500 series it is all the same product.
For me is quite durable and very powerful wheel for runing up and down to anywhere and corner.
Sure u will surprise for your roomba.

i am interested in your Roomba 550 new model. May I know the main difference between this model and Roomba 581?

Is the charge time for all model 3 hours? After charging, how long can the unit run?

Hi, thanks for your interested the roomba 550.

So far in US is out of stock, everywhere no stock.
Because it is latest model, for basic with schedule and AeroVac bin it is design for own pet user.

If compared to Roomba 581, is Euro model only can fine in Asia country and euro area.
Because it is come with original design for 240V power ready.

For 581 is same as model 570 in US only.
Same specification, only 570 come with 2 virtual wall/lighthouse and normal remote control.

For the 581 have more highend model it is included 3 of virtual wall / lighthouse and wireless command center can show the same control panel as the roomba time schedule.

If you want to compared both for me is all the same.

If you compared the 550/560 to 570/581 here got difference is both used the virtual wall only.
And 570/581 is using virtual wall with lighthouse.

Lighthouse can be navigated the roomba after across the LH and keep to clean up for 30min. Per each room.
For virtual wall is only for blocking across that area.

For 3 hours charged can be working up to 1-2 hours maximum.
Also depend your floor how the dirty to vacuum, if very clean roomba just take 1 hours to finish clean.

List out of exchange of used if not in good condition.
For replacement
1) tank
2) squeegee
3) filter
4) vacuum port
5) both wheel
6) cleaning head module.
7) battery.
If it total you change then better get a new one.

When I take a look at the packing and items and accessories,
All looks like brand new from my own used unit already in 3-6 months working, for roomba itself from irobot factory they changed a lot to replacements parts, once the parts are peel
Off of loose out, they will do replacements, for example to control panel, faceplate, front bumper, top cover, sibebrush, both brush they also do for replaced it for new, and also depend the condition for US or Canada customer to return back at 30-days try period.

I'm looking for a cleaning robot for my parents. The house is on mountain side. Floor mainly are Marble tile. May i know which irobot do you recommended? Is there a combination for sweep and wash? Looking for not too expensive one...don't mind if second hand.

I can recommend you getting the Roomba 530 brand new or remanufactured set Roomba 530 cheap and value.

It is very simple just one press to clean bottom that's all roomba can be do his own works, until battery weak and return to home base for charging.

I just read about the roomba but seems that it doesn't do sweep and wash right? correct me if im wrong

Roomba just for vacuum cleaning.
If you need wash and mop function, you can go for Scooba 230 or 380.

don't have 2 in 1 robot? or one which is simple vacuum and more focus on washing? cause not much dust in the house...just need washing..tend to spill all sauce around¬¬

I see, maybe you can consider to Scooba 230.
It is very usefull and mini size can go in every corner edge to mop for you.

Yap irobot won't allow to 2-in-1 combine after the result no good.
Becuase it is not in focus either one function in used.

Maybe I can look out 2nd hand Scooba for you.

For my experience I still prefer you buy Roomba 1st Becuase it is can help to vacuum up all those dust and hair.

For your house is single storey better get roomba 1st.
Rooomba can be vacuum up 90% of your floor dust or hair, and you won't feel your floor very dirty or sticky on your foot.

If your home every days got people around, I will prefer you get the Roomba 530 is it basic model without time schedule 7-days.

some times.. what do you mean no time schedule 7 days? i have read in your website.
it says here "It systematically cleans up to three rooms on a single charge"
How about common area and walkway, is it "smart enought" to go and sweep lol?

7- days time schedule can be set in when you not around or going out for your Roomba still can wakeup and do works for you.
From mon-sun you can set either one day at one works hour or set in 7-days to works up for you.

For common area you may take care of roomba where is he going to or run over the grass area.
For drain building side drain it is drop off, because it has sensor to detect and won't be drop.
Got one thing if common area too dirty you may hardworking to do cleaning out vacuum bin by frequently.

May I know more details about Scooba?

Do you sell it separately or it can be purchased independently? Cuz my mother once called an iRobot agent, he said in order to buy a scooba, you must have a Roomba, but we've already got another type of automatic vacuum player, no plan on getting a new one.

I read reviews online that Roomba is so fragile and easily to spoilt. Some even breakdown after 1-2 weeks. The little brush that goes round will break very easily and the replacement is so expensive. Is that true? From your experience, is there any breakdown for the Roomba? I am so interested in trying one... but the reviews online really puts me off a bit. Hope to have your honest view on this matter.

Just want to say thank you for the great product Received the 550 on last Saturday & watch it vacuum entire floor for the first time while my cat staring with curiosity .

On second day & today, 550 again did its job well done & impressed with the docking maneuver, very hi-tech.

Result ? a full of cat litter sand, crumbs, cat fur and my wife’s hair & it cuts almost 90% of my vacuuming.

The only thing that it can't do its job is on black carpet but that has been resolved completely.

For Roomba 530 is the basic vacuum robot without times schedule for 7-days schedule, if you set in from mon-sun in single time can be wake up to doing vacuum for you.

For Roomba 550 is for own pets at home only the difference is vacuum bin. It is using AeroVac bin technology to pull out the pets hairs from the floor and can allow the store manys hairs and dust without frequently to clean up the bin.
Cause pets hairs is drop as manys at the every corner.

For Roomba 560 is using normal vacuum bin the feature is same as Roomba 530, just only added time schedule.
For schedule is best for those people not at home or working.

If you don't let roomba to across that area you can used the Virtual Wall to blocked that area for roomba will be do not across.

Don't worry for carpets roomba do not damaged or cut through because it is very common in US home, for the design is suite to hard floor and carpets, even you google or YouTube video all those people home in US is using carpets floors.

For Roomba is really usefull and helpful, almost vacuum up at 90% and above you can't imaging the small roomba can be works better than tranditional vacuum. One you vacuum almost time you had feel tired and feels very hot, cause the heat will come from rear of vacuum cleaning.
For roomba you press the button that all.
Or set in schudule after you when back home for your cleaning works is completed.

So they prefer on Roomba 560 with schedule all time days and time has been in set.
At everyday roomba will be doing floor cleaning works itself, after completed wait for his husband back to clean out the vacuum bin, that all, for them now is feel more comfortable and life of easy.

As i know the iRobot have refurnish unit for both 530 and 560 roomba, so how do i know the unit that i buy from you will not be the refurnish unit or new, although you stated it is new unit??
