So far based on my experience of using roomba 560 , 3000mAh APS yellow battery since August 2010. I use it everyday to clean 2000 Sq Feet house. The battery is still ok, like brand new.

For Roomba to last , u need to take care of the Clean Head Module , so that dust doesn't go into the gear box. If u don't have pets in your house.
u need to clean the gear box perhaps once every year.
If u have pets u have to clean it at least 3 times in 1 year.

Also u need to clean hairs from the yellow bearings of the brush and also the side brush.

Scooba 380 can cover 3-Bedroom + living + Dinner area, single charged on 3-hours for ASP battery can used for 2 tanks in 1 litter water and few drop of detergent, can be used it Kiwi Kleen.

1 tank water can cover whole 3 bedroom apartment.
If let said 2 tanks I think can cover 2-storey house.
Once the tank is full then have to changed water and drop few detergent & 2 cycle clean until battery gone.
And take out battery to charge in home base or plug in robot.

So you can imaging my house is a single storey 24' x 70' Terrance house, I just need 1 tank is really enough, the 2nd cycle i keep until 2 or 4 days later then continue for cleaning job.

Battery can used up to 2 to 2.5 years.
Filter can clean then not need changed.
I think it is just replace the vacuum port, if it had cut off rubber head then changed.
CHM if the brush still ok then continued used.
All parts is ready durable design.
Even the tank also.
