KM17-35 user... need ur advise... shud i give up my tammy 10-24 for KM 17-35?? i'm not very satisfied with my tammy. always need to go all the way to f8 for sharp image.. >.<

trade the tammy 10-24 for 1635Z la... then when go FF, u gain UWA F2.8

10-24 not sharp meh? mine at f5 quite ok on center sharpness...

porkchop: well, i'm not that satisfied. a100 iso max oso 1600 oni, use small aperture, most of the time also slow shutter.

nice wor...wat body are u using now??...

btw, i got no camera to use now...i gonna get a cheap TLR film camera to play...xD...



WTA, those film camera, how we gonna make it into digital form?..and what will be the resolution of it?..what is the pricing of developing the film??..

why not consider tamron 1750 f2.8?

processing around rm5 for color negatives , b&w & slides iinm is different price. and usually the shop will charge rm7-rm15 for scan 1 roll fulm and burn to cd. this exclude price of the film itself, range from cheapest of rm 4.50 to rm30+ per roll.

process shop in pj go to SS2 photosun near to RHB rm5 (processing) +rm7 scan. and for kl at Wangsa maju foto mega. don go to fotozoom, they dem cekik darah

i own the KM17-35 f2.8-4 and also Tokina 11-16 f2.8..

for what i can see,if u still need an UWA lens that is to replace ur Tamron 10-24, the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 is ur answer.its much more different of sharpness compare to 10-24.u will loose the range but gain a sharpness plus a good low light lens..

BUT,if u planning on upgrading to FF, KM17-35 f2.8-4 is a good answer.on APSC this lens works well with good iq and sharpness.its also a good match for my KM7d when doing landscape with cokin filters.but on FF,this lens suffer on corner softness same like this lens sibling, KM11-18 and the new rebranding SONY 11-18..
