QUOTE(D3vilsim @ Mar 25 2011, 11:24 PM) Just heard a fren said. Polo/Polo Gti manufacture from South Africa where Golf series are Germany. How truth is this ?? anyone ?? Yup that is correct, just check the 11th figure in your code on your car and you can determine the location where it is built. Golf = Wolfsburg Germany Polo = South Afria Scirocco = Portugal |

QUOTE(D3vilsim @ Mar 25 2011, 10:46 PM) Armrest and auto dim mirror can add later la. but paddle shift can't.. too bad I hear rumors the price range is around 128k -138k , I think they might hv 2 options, which is 1 with standard head light (128k) , and with Xenon DRL light (138k) . Gonna stick with my City for at least 2 more years >< then only I'll consider bout this. Price range should be around 120k - 138k max. I also waiting this one. After release lio only decide which one to go. better that way i guess Add on- The Polo Gti manufactured in South Africa if nt mistaken, it delivery to South East Asia and Australia. Australia already launch this model last November , but the delivery date scary wey, some said half year++ ..Another link : http://www.ausmotive.com/2010/11/26/volksw...ifications.html , http://www.caradvice.com.au/93075/volkswag...olo-gti-review/ This post has been edited by Tr1Angel: Mar 26 2011, 01:18 AM |

QUOTE(Yan @ Mar 25 2011, 09:21 AM) QUOTE(Kilang Kimpalan @ Mar 25 2011, 09:26 AM) Hehe, KL->JB and JB->KL on weekly basis. Sometime on a 2 day basis if got meeting in KL. Lucky I got this little nimble car. RM50 of ron 95 is enough to make 1 trip. insane mileage rate you got there. at that rate when your car is only 10 months old it will be covering 150,000km. Added on March 25, 2011, 9:59 amGuys, BTW, Where can I buy RCD 510? What is the cost and is it plug and play or I will have to do some coding with Vag Com? QUOTE(D3vilsim @ Mar 25 2011, 10:09 PM) The curve got VW road show by VW ttdi branch. I just drop by there to ask. guess they will be there till sunday. Polo GTi will not have paddle shift? wah performance cars should have had that thanks for the link On no ~ dont have paddel shift ... dont have arm rest... dont have auto dim mirror. QUOTE(Yan @ Mar 25 2011, 10:14 PM) Just got my Rocco. Feels a bit diff compared to my tis esp d engine sound/exhaust and also d gear change. Rocco seems to chge slower n tends to hold longer and slower to drop as well. it could be that the gearbox is adapting to your driving style, try driving a bit harder and see how it goes |

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Mar 25 2011, 10:44 PM) Yes, compliant... As for the Huper Optik, correct me if I'm wrong, it's not even a tinting film, they are chemically bound to the screen, so technically it may not be providing shatter resistanceAnd about Huber Optik, I have no idea yet.. But Canny Cool those... Errmm, depends if you guys wanna know the real thing... It is nano-ceramic or something like that. So, not supposed to disturb the Smart Tag. I got the 4mil one..... I personally felt the film, it was pretty thick to me. To thick also cannot lah... nanti disturb the windows closing.Added on March 26, 2011, 9:11 am What's the deal Yan? Which outlet will u be doing urs? Colour wise? |

QUOTE(Yan @ Mar 26 2011, 11:31 AM) got a question : if ask you to choose between Michelin Primacy HP vs Bridgestone Potenza RE050... which will u go for ? Well..RE050 is performance tyre lo. Fantastic grip but wear life is short, i think its like 160. Since your rocco is "performance" car yeah put the RE050 on it. Primacy HP more for confort leh.thikin shud i swap out my golf 050 with the rocco's michelin ... |

Actually im using Huper Optik in my current car and the heat resistance is pretty good so far. Mine not too dark but just nice. It comes with security film and works well with smartag. I'll probably get this again when my GTI arrives. The place that I installed Huper is in SS2 near RHB bank. Price I think was rm1.7k if i can remember correctly. There is no point getting 3M if it doesnt work with smartag. I can imagine the hassle of winding down your windows, especially when its raining |
