Aiyoh...guys I have taken my Golf TSI after a long long delay. But the radio is not working as the SC said that they are unable to key in the security code due to a failure of the network. WTF? Anyway..will ahve to bring it back to the SC today for them to programme the radio. Sigh...

Anyway..I realised by not having the radio there is a rattling sound coming from the right passenger side eminating from Pillar B. Any one of you face this? If so..how to kau tim..take back to SC or sort it ourself?

Those buggers said ok aledi can collect. Then called up say Radio cannot programme. Why cant the programme the radio when they PDI check...I took it because I have to arrange transport to go there and get the car lo. Cause I working ma..

Will do so. My patience up in smoke already. Called VGM. They say they will look into it..funny thing is that they also find it ridiculous that radio cannot programme. Lets see what VGM can do. Tired man...with all this non sense. Buy Jap car also dont have so many incidents. Never has any issues when I bought my Mazda 3.

I believe there is no process flow on how Cergaz does things. My problems never ending..first have to change car cause got electrical fault found during PDI. This was on the day that the car was due to be registred. They could have done the PDI before settling on my K1, cause my insurance was issued aledi under the old chasis.have to cancel the insurance. Nevermind ..2 days later ok new car ready. BUT..radio not working...damn kau jia lat..why they cant sort all this during PDI? Unless they PDI it after getting road tax. Its kinda of silly because problems found during PDI will delay the delivery of car. They should have PDI it..then only proceed to settle road tax. This will save alot of this last minute failures and faults.

Really shows they are incompetent. Utterly disgraceful. VGM should reconsider their franchise!! A nasty letter is being drafted to VGM soon.

I got like 630km on my first tank for Golf TSI 50%-50% driving. Which was not too bad IMHO.

Nope stage 1 only. Me thinks the limitng factor is that DSG max tolerance level at 250Nm torque. But stage 1 already get 200bhp and 300Nm aledi wor. You need more power meh???

Wow..440km sucks man. Yeah leave it in auto. Dont fall into the temptation of pedal to the metal..if lightfooted easily can make 600km. I am on my second tank (but Vpower racing) trip ...about 280km now and I've got like 2/3 tank left..

But seriously 440km on easy driving means something is wrong with the engine.

Just to keep you guys in the loop. I just went to SC for get them to rectify the rattling sounds near the B pillars for my wife's Golf TSI. They told me VGM has found a solution and they can start rectifying the problem next week onwards. I am also made to understand that this problem is quite common. So anyone of you guys having this problems go to the SC and get it sorted.

And to update you guys on the DRL. Grats to the 2011 TSI buyers, the car comes with DRL. Only TSI gets DRL, GTI dont have it.Looks very nice. But damn painful for 2010 buyers, feel like kena conned. Should we start a petition for 2010 buyers to get VGM to subsidised retrofiting the car with DRL at minimal cost?

I think we should cause the TSI was lunched only 6 months ago and now they update the car with new stuffs. Any input will be great..

Of course cars get updated. Facelifting is very common. But you see the car was only officially lunched in September 2010. People took delivery in Oct/Nov. So imagine those buyers who now reliased..err...4 months down the road ..the same car gets updated. While I understand your point, its the buyers choice. Me..I knew what I am getting at when I paid 156k for the car. I dont expect VW to tell buyers wait for the 2011 model got DRL. But all things being equal, the 2010 owners have the right to feel pissed. Its like you buy a new car but 4 months on...ooppss you get less for the same money. It does not bode well in marketing strategy. Its like the person who bought the passat cc with normal auto box only to reliase 6 months later the DSG was vailable at the same price.

p.s Your example of Ipad2. At least apple cut the price for Ipad1. Secondly, the Ipad2 wont hit the shore in malaysia for sometime maybe until like end of the year. In our case we paid same money wor and TSI owners only get to enjoy the 'new' feeling for 4 months nia..so the example is not quite right.

Yup. If you check the VIN number its actually 2011 car. I read somewhere if the vehicle is produced after August..its considered next year but I can't be certain.

As I understand it the booking fee is fully refundable. No questions asked I believe its a policy set by VGM.

Oh yes please tell us which SC or the SA who tried to con you. I myself have some bad experiance with my SC. We must avoid such centres.

Wow..that is cheap. I got quoted for my Missus Mazda 3 for RM200 per pair. And they suck as well. Maybe thinking of getting PIAA. Autogarage seems to have someone selling really cheap like RM50.00 per pair but I am worried it may be fakes.

I also got mine from 3M ...so far so good. Yes smart tag got issues but heat resistence is very good. Got it from Melvin as well. No issues with my installation. some bubbles but after 1 week it went away. Came with 1 layer of 4mil security film somemore.

Nola. They put a layer like 30cm dark tint not 3m on top the WS . U just flash your smart tag there lo. a bit of a hassle but I dont mind since at least I know I am gettting the ori 3M. And you will know if its ori lo due to the smart tag issues.
