i would not recommend to kiss if your partner or you are having an outbreak (herpes). Other that than its okay to kiss.

bacterial infection for female i think is quite common, so have to maintain good hygiene.
Yup always dry it up after washing.

kinda strange, how come both of u do regular blood test every 3 months? always change partner??  rclxub.gif

I'm gay actually. Me and my partner pressured each other for health check up because of trust issue, God knows how many men he might be kissing out there when he travel for work.

So far everything is fine but there's nothing wrong with being paranoid when it comes STD. We just want to protect ourselves.

edit:
That bacterial infection I'm talking about is penis actually. Yes I do wash after urinating but is there any risk of infection if I didn't dry properly?

just 26 and u may have an active sex life up 40+
circumcise can toughen your foreskin, so less chances of virus/bacteria goes into the skin but u may lose some sensitivity .. so think properly yourself.
if want to circumcise, find a well recommend one, don just cincai find a clinic because if their stitching is not good it may look weird brows.gif

good luck. nod.gif

Okay guy, need your advice.

I had blowjob and sex from a random girl at pub, long time ago using condom. And since then, I am afraid of contracting any forms of STD or HIV.
Roughly almost a year back or probably dated back 10 months.
From what I know, there's no complication or whatsover during this time

My penis foreskin when i retract it has white small spots, not pain and doesn't cause any discomfort. So the problem is it still late to check for STD or HIV test considering the window period?
If no where can I refer to? Everyday i keep thinking of contracting this sorts of diseases. Can't study peacefully lol.

Please advice me guys,

Thanks

If your using condom, not likely you will have hiv. Just get your blood checked for stds and hiv to be sure. 10 months should be well over the window period, so it is good time to get checked.

also pls update us once your results out, thanks and good luck thumbup.gif

Boss. Sounds possible that you contracted something. You should get yourself tested for the whole shebang.

1) You should know that lots of STD testing in Malaysia is not anonymous and may report to govt. You want to go to one that provides anonymous testing. Example this Malaysia STD clinic provides anonymous testing and treatment.

2) It is better to do your testing at a specialist STD clinic like the above than to go to generalist testing places like Pathlab/BPlab etc.

Hi. my tests from government hospital came back negative. however, i still feel pain in urinating. previously i was diagnosed with urinary tract infection with pus, and after a course of antiobiotics, it has been resolved.

could there be UTI / pus, even thought the tests are negative? the tests are done after few weeks after intercourse and the pain and i had numerous antiobiotics course weeks and months after the that

the urination pain was just 30 percent compared to the first one. i also need to mention that i have itchyness as well around the testicles, thought not serious.

thinking of getting second opinion

Dont trust 100% in lab tests. Lab technicians are also human and they could have messed up the test results.
Urination pain and itchyness is not normal in healthy person. It means you caught something.
Now go see a doctor asap.

Guys this is amazing article and very extensive and useful information. I have a friend who has STD clinic, Klinik bangsar south, and gets patients for STD screening all the time. You will be surprised how many people nowadays have STD. We all should be very careful and use condoms at all times unless you have one partner only.

Used to have same issue with you but without any pus. See the doctor for 3 weeks continuously, test is all negative. Taken medicine still the same. The doctor suggest me go to surgery dep to ask for the pro. Then I try search online during that period and found, consume cranberry(juice) could help to reduce the pain during urinating. After i drink for 2 days +. Suddenly the pain just go off.

Thank god I rejected my friend's friend who wanted to be a fubu. Only known her for few months. Part of me feel good it was like hitting a jackpot since she is quite pretty plus good career not just some trashy girls who are likely to give me more trouble. Sooooo tempting... But still, at that time my rationale mind wondering god knows what kind of people she ever slept with so I just rejected her. Otherwise, would end up worrying like shiat...

Good luck to those going through screening. Hopefully all is healthy.

hi, i been diagnosis with herpes type 1 & 2.
But the doctor told me not to worry about anything & given me no pre-cautious or any medication.
Only told me not to have sex when i'm having any sort of sore.

At this point onwards, what else i could do about it ?
Outbreak is like how ?
I got a gf & i intended to marry her. I told her about this herpes infection as well. But i didn't ask her to go test for it.

Herpes is quite common and quite a number of people have it. Have you had any outbreaks yet so far? Some people are just carriers with no visible symptoms.

What you can do is to keep your immune system healthy. It usually comes out when your body is stressed and weak, changes in lifestyle, environment, diet may trigger it too. Different people different. But once its in you, you live with it forever. There are creams and supplements to keep the virus under control. For oral herpes, you can just go to any pharmacy to get cold sore cream.

Google how herpes outbreak is like and you'll find your answer. Basically it's a whole lot of blisters which will burst and take a long time to heal. With proper prevention and awareness, you can reduce the outbreak/healing time. Also read on what you should be aware off when you have an outbreak so you do not pass it to others, especially your kids in the future, i.e. no sharing of utensils, towels, toothpaste, kisses on the cheeks, etc.

I don't think so. I do not have any abnormal rashes or any visible blister around my mouth or lower body, except for the one i recently bite my lips. Hopefully i know how to differentiate an outbreak or just a normal blisters.
Without any doctor advise I'm quite reluctant to take any sort of medicine.

I taken this test on about after 4 weeks of last sex activities, is there any possible that i got a false positive? As i read there is this kind of possibilities.

I will try to do another test on September, is there any specialist in KL which I can do another herpes & HIV test?

The one that you bite on your lips is most likely canker sores. It's different from cold sores.

Canker sores are not contagious and very different from cold sores. Cold sores are usually on the outside of your lips. It appears as small blisters then combine to become a huge one then burst.

There is always that risk when doing the test, if you are worried, go just for another test in the future. You might have gotten it way before your recent sex activity also, you won't know. Cold sores are commonly passed down by parents when the kids are young.
